I really wish the buffo would abandon their current line of "humor" regarding the topic of me. There are several things to make fun of, but they've latched on to a single thing and absolutely ruined the not-funny joke by banging on and on. Originality is not their strong suit, and we would have been told to bar similar things from our jokes by now. I'd also like to see what they would do if we made them remove jokes regarding sexual orientation and related anatomy from their repertoire. So very, very old and mostly not funny.

Anyway, concert went well, and I was surprised to see my grandparents there. Nice to see a familiar face, but it was for a very short time and I am now typing this up in a host home with several interesting warnings around the house:

"Abandon hope all ice cream that enters here."

"The beatings will continue until morale improves."

And my favorite:

"Meddle thee not in the affairs of dragons for thou art crunchy and wouldst be tasty with ketchup."

To top it off, the dad is a family physician and the mom is former Army. This is a family I can get along with.
