Well, still nothing to write about, I guess. Band practice tonight... It, and the next 2 practices after it, have been lengthened for an hour 'cause a lot of people (myself excluded, of course) were disrespectful to our assistant band director while our director was away. And I do mean myself included. I know how Mr. O does things, and I listened. But most everyone else didn't...

 

Oh. And go read my entry two down. I spent a long time writin' that one. wink.gif And, of course, it was right while the server was down. tongue.gif

You should have taken over. Asserted yourself and made them follow your leadership. That's what I do in situations like that. But did your assistant director deserve what got thrown at 'im?

No, he didn't deserve it. Sure, he made us all mad by marching down to the practice field painfully slow while playing long duration notes... And then having us warm up more when we got there. More of a nuisance for us trumpet players who had a sectional quite literally right before practice.

 

But he didn't deserve it. :P He's an all right guy.

 

And at least ya read it.
