Blue Fire Posted December 3, 2009 My calendar ends on December 31, 2009. Since it ends there, i'm going to assume that the world would end that day. THE MAYANS WERE WRONG! Quote Link to comment
Jean Valjean Posted December 3, 2009 I always wondered that. It just meant that they're calendar that people claim to be so accurate apparently wasn't so accurate after all. Your Honor, Emperor Kraggh Quote Link to comment
Unassuming Local Beorc Posted December 3, 2009 Guys, according to the calendar on my computer, the world began on January 1st, 1980! It's impossible to make it go back earlier! History is a lie! Windows tried to warn us! Quote Link to comment
Zeddy Posted December 4, 2009 But seriously, it would be really funny if the world did actually end in 2012. Quote Link to comment
BCii Posted December 4, 2009 Silly. The Long Count is just like any other calendar: it rolls over from 13.0.0.0.0 (the largest possible value) to start over at 0.0.0.0.1 the next day, December 22, 2012 in our Gregorian reckoning. What that implies, or whether it means anything at all, is open to investigation. We'll see what happens, when it happens. Quote Link to comment
