I'm not taking credit for this idea, cause I know B6 has done the badges on a sash before, and I know there are people who've made wearable-MOCs before. And I know that this isn't even that large of a brick badge compared to some. But it's an idea that I've had for a while, and finally rushed it out to see how it'll work. (Cropped out the ugly tho, for everybody's sanity.)
It's a bit clunky, but it seems to fit alright, considering it's basically a strap of Hero factory joints. The brick section could potentially fall apart; I've tried to reinforce it but I don't know if it'll hold? But I'll probably end up wearing this at BrickCon next weekend. For part of the time anyway. (Life got in the way of working on my cos-play idea, so that's not happening. Maybe next time?)
I also figured that this would probably be uncomfortable to wear all the time, so I designed a mini badge that can hold up to 6 bricks that I can wear everywhere. Because you can't go to a Lego convention and not have bricks magnetized to your shirt at all times. This includes fancy dinner. Brick badges are fancy.
I also got a new MS Surface 2 tablet... and it's not working right, so turning around and bringing it back to the store tomorrow. I was looking forward to bringing it with me to BrickCon as a portable computing device... I'll see if I still get the chance.
