When It Rains...

I get soaked.

 

I think I just witnessed the first big rainstorm of the season. There was thunder and lightning, and in the Multi-Purpose Room (Theatre) the echos made the thunder LOUD! (Try rehursing for a play over the sound of thunder... and we did Dracula last year). And when I rushed out to find my mom's car, the rain was coming down HARD! As in I was soaked after five minutes of searching... turned out my mom was a little late. ^_^

 

So, the rain has died down, but I'm still soaked as I type up this entry, and the thunder is starting to boom again, so I think I'll sign off my computer now. For the rest of you in the great Pacific Northwest, enjoy the first storm of the season.

 

That's what it's going to be like for the next eight months or so. :sly:

Thunderstorms rule. One of the best feelings in the world is getting soaked through, then immediately entering a toasty warm building. Yeah, they're the best.

 

Just don't go flying a kite or anything. :P

1- The house wasn't toasty or warm. :P

 

2- I didn't care about myself getting soaked. But my backpack got soaked... with all my school supplies in it. That did not go over well... luckily, only a few papers were damp.

 

3- Uh, I'm not good at flying kites anyway. I'll just hold up a metal rod instead.
