Hello, folks! At some point today I actually realized that maybe one of these blog things would be useful. No idea how much I'm going to use it yet, but hey.

Expect this blog to be updated intermittently rather than on any real schedule; possible things to be posted here include little updates on stuff I'm interested in that don't warrant a whole topic and bits and pieces of writing that may or may not be expanded into something bigger.

As for the future, a friend of mine gave me an absolutely ridiculous, absurd, possibly stupid epic idea. Naturally, I'm already 700 words in on a warm-up piece for it, which if I like I'll probably put up here sometime in the next week. Whether or not the whole thing will happen is dependent on how things are going in life around March.

In any event, it's still the 25th here, so a Merry Christmas (or other holiday) to any of you reading this.
