Best. Games. Ever.

HerInteractive has made a total of 17 of these Nancy Drew games so far, and let me tell you, all of these games are AMAZINGLY fun and so much better than the movie that came out this last year. Buildings set on fire, stuff gets stolen, you get knocked out with pepper spray, an ancient French medallion, a Cajun smoke bomb, and a Canadian ice ball, not to mention all the stuff that can happen when things go wrong, like getting eaten by a crocodile, getting suffocated in an Aztec tomb, or having a wrecking ball slam into the building you are standing on the top floor of.

Plus you get to go ice fishing and stop several different types of bombs from exploding all at the same time.

My mother, my siblings and I have been able to play, re-play, and dig out all the easter eggs of every single game.

There are a few that are difficult and/or frustrating to complete (Secret of the Scarlet Hand in particular for skill, and Secrets Can Kill, the first game, which was a beta version of sorts and had way too many glitches for comfortable gaming, but thye fixed that in all the rest), and a couple of them scare the heebie-jeebies out of you as well (Curse of Blackmoor Manor and Legend of the Crystal Skull in particular).

And the Hardy Boys are in seven or eight of them, which makes me happy. *loves the Hardy Boys books*

But yeah, go play them! They are fun and, give or take a couple scary moments, sounds or images, completely family friendly. :)

Yeah, my sister got me hooked on them, even though I don't usually like mystery anymore. I think they're like a kids version of the older game, Tex Murphy. That game wasn't the most kid friendly, but my dad says that they were pretty similar.

My little brother and then a bunch of my friends are into the Nancy Drew games, I've always watched my brother play them sometimes with curiosity, and they look fun, but with all the stuff I need to get done, I barely get to play the games I have now. >> And in fact it’s so hard to enjoy video games these days with parents constantly fussing about them…blah. =/

But, yay for Nancy Drew games. =D

It's the thrill of trying to piece together things only one other person knows (whoever commited the crime).

It makes you think. A lot. :3

And it's not overly girly or anything like that.

Yes...I can see it now,

"Nancy Drew, and the Case of the Missing Hair Curler!!"

Lol. Just kidding.

But does it have aliens? Or rocket launchers? Or Master Chief? I can't play it if it don't. :P
