'That point' is the part where the contest host names the rules.

'-No cut/re-coloured pieces

-No cheating

-One entry per person, one MOC per entry'

 

And stuff like that. Short, clear and homemade, instead of copying the long rules used unes in the official contests.

That's silly. Writing short rules means more questions to answer from potential entrants. More information in the first post = less questions to answer.

 

I agree people shouldn't directly copy the rules from the official contests, but there's nothing wrong with writing out long rules in the style of the official contests.
