I love how they just copy the rules from the official BBC contests when they get to that point of their contest.

Well, not.

Try something original plox

What do you mean? Stuff like 'no painted parts'?

WHY DO PEOPLE SAY 'PLOX'? IT'S NOT A WORD

AND IT DOESN"T SOUND LIKE 'PLEASE' WHEN YOU SAY IT ALOUD

OR LOOK LIKE 'PLEASE'

BUT SOMEHOW IT'S SYSNONYMOUS

WITH 'PLEASE'

BECAUSE YOU CAN'T TYPE PEE ELL ZEE AND GET AWAY WITH IT

'That point' is the part where the contest host names the rules.

Bitter Cold (your new name is like 'blaahhh wut': I mean that they copy the rules, exacly how they are in the official BBC contests.

Like:

'-No cut/re-coloured pieces

-No cheating

-One entry per person, one MOC per entry'

And stuff like that. Short, clear and homemade, instead of copying the long rules used unes in the official contests.

That's silly. Writing short rules means more questions to answer from potential entrants. :P More information in the first post = less questions to answer.

I agree people shouldn't directly copy the rules from the official contests, but there's nothing wrong with writing out long rules in the style of the official contests.

Thou shalt not cut thine pieces.

Thou shalt not useth non-LEGO pieces.

Thou shalt not color thine pieces.

Thou shalt enter one MOC, and no more.
