  1. IC: Night Stalker

"I didn't realize I was getting back up. That's a little better. Last time I picked the police station because they were all occupied when I got there. This time it's right where the heroes parked, so somewhere far away from the police station would be best."

  2. IC: Night Stalker

"It's the second to last thing I want to do," Night Stalker said.  "But lucky for you, the last thing I want to do is go back to prison.  Where do you want me to lead them away from and where do I meet you when you're done?"

Night Stalker had nearly made up his mind about his future, about whether or not he wanted to continue in his life of crime.  Black Phantom certainly wasn't making it difficult to choose, and it looked like it was about to bite him in the butt.

  3. IC: Night Stalker

Night Stalker growls, "Your plan sucks.  The last time I did that it was as a distraction, and if I do it again they're going to assume it's another distraction.  The heroes will be able to pull up everything they know on me and use that to get a small group, no more than 3 or 4, that will deal with me while the rest go on ultra high alert.  A moron could figure out that the people I'm drawing attention away from is looking for the Starwhale and they'll have every place related to it covered immediately."

  4. IC: Ruby

Ruby rolled her neck and shoulders, popping her joints as she stood up and slung her scythe onto her back.  She followed the others out of the ship, half hoping there would be villains to beat down.

    IC: Morphos

Morphos made sure he was in average civillian form, checked the ammo in his weapons (both were full), and followed Xplode out of the ship.

  5. IC: Night Stalker

Night Stalker looked out the window at the dropship, then over the rest of Mekron City just before it disappeared behind the freighters. "Last time I was here I blew up part of the police station, killed a couple a cops and civilians, and took out a building. My face would have been all over the news, and I would bet at least 99% of Mekron City knows who I am. Whatever you want me to do, for your sake I hope it's nowhere with people. I'd bring down every cop in the city plus the heroes on our heads."

  6. IC: Morphos

Morphos decided that he did not like Rotor and Xplode.  He thought about replying, but this argument would go nowhere and it was already creating more division than there should be.  There were better chances of walking out of this alive with his money if he shut up now and did not point out that XPlode had said nothing about 'visiting establishments'.

  7. IC: Morhpos

Morphos growled, "Don't patronize me!  I know that the factory knows about the Starwhale.  That wasn't my concern.  Still, you did answer my question." After a breif pause where Morphos takes the robot equivalent of a deep breath, Morphos asks, "I don't suppose you have any contacts here, or a general area of where we want to look?  There's a lot of city down there, and a lot more robots."

  8. IC: Morphos

"It has occurred to me that there are very few who know the exact path of the Starwhale, and if there are any who are not on the ship then they have have probably already told hero factory.  However, if hero factory has not been notified, that means one of two things; either that there is no information here on the Starwhale's location and I would really like to know why the #### we're even coming here, or someone is keeping them from revealing that information.  If that's the case I doubt they're going to give it up willingly and we may be looking at a fight, depending on how badly someone wants this hidden.  My question is can you enlighten us on this situation, or do you not know either? "

    IC: Night Stalker

Night Stalker connected the last wire and watched as his arm changed color to match the floor below it.  He grinned at his success, then reverted to normal and put the tools away.  Now both his radar and his camo armor were working again, not to mention he now had ammunition for his weapons again.  He was still unsure about his place in the universe.  While in prison he had decided to go straight, but that was before he had been offered an escape from prison in exchange for his violent services, while he still expected to be there for a very long time.  He would see where fate took him before making a decision.  Best to see what he was dealt before betting on the outcome.

  9. IC: Ruby

"You could say that.  The energy blade can be turned on and off, but it doesn't have to be off to use the rifle.  The blade makes a great stabilizer when you dig it into the ground."

  10. IC: Ruby

Ruby visibly perked up at the mention of her pride and joy.  "This is Crescent Rose, my sniper scythe, combination of an energy scythe and high power sniper rifle," Ruby said proudly, extending the pole of the weapon towards Gorn.

  11. IC: Ruby

Ruby looked up when the other hero spoke and found he was looking at her.  "Um, yeah, I think so.  I mean, I've never been on a mission even close to this priority level so I don't even know if there's something I've forgotten to bring or do or what."

    OOC: That would be Render.

  12. OOC: Don't worry, I remember them.  I forgot to mention that he wouldn't be the same colors as Xplode, sorry.  Also, he didn't take just a few seconds.  He had already scanned Xplode's face before he started talking.  The few seconds were just the time it took for him to fully take the form.  ;)

    IC: Morphos

    "Please, I'm not an imbecile."

  13. IC: Morphos

"The authorities and recognition software won't be a problem.  This form hasn't been seen by any authorities since the station.  I can change it if it would be convenient."  To demonstrate, his face becomes a blank sheet, before taking on XPlode's face, down to the scratches, a few seconds later.  He blinks a few times, then grins at Xplode before reverting back to normal.

    OOC: What are pluppies?

  14. IC: Whipcrack (Eclipse Station Tier 3 - Hangar Bay 17B)

"Slow? if they're *cough* slow, that's their problem. More for us."

OOC: Whipcrack is talking to Morphos.

    "I ain't complaining, just stating a fact."

  15. IC: XPlode - Not Fully Convinced

"Good to hear. Seems like we have an oddly high proportion of organics with us today. I'd hate to arrive at our destination with a severe drop in numbers." And, he added to himself, sick organics tended to produce all sorts of disgusting slime, none of which he was keen to deal with.

He paused, looking over the villains. "Speaking of... is this everyone?"

OOC: So far, we seem to have three Villains with XPlode and Rotor, so correct me if I'm wrong on that. By a weird coincidence, all three player characters present are organic and are also going to be in an enclosed space with Whipcrack, whose disease is contagious through close contact. HMMMMMMMMMMMMM

OOC: Morphos isn't even remotely organic. :P

    IC: Morphos

Morphos shrugged.  "That depends on whether or not anyone else was interested in the job.  They're probably just slow."

  16. IC: Ruby

Ruby stood around awkwardly, wondering whether Stormer would assign them teams and dropships or if they just picked one themselves.  Then she noticed a few heroes boarding one of the dropships and and figured that they knew what they were doing.  She walked over to the dropship.  As she reached the top of the ramp Ruby asked, "Hey, um, do you guys have room for another?"

  17. IC: Night Stalker

Night Stalker grinned as he charged.  "How nice of you to line up for me!" he shouts as he nears them.  As soon as the guards are in range he swings his hammer around, a powerful two-handed blow which hits the leftmost guard (his left) and carries through to the rest of them, sending the first three hurling into the wall while the other three are bowled over by their newly flying companions

    IC: Morphos

Morphos knew that one simply didn't walk into Mordor hanger bays belonging to feared villains, but then he had been told to go there by said feared villain, so he figured that overruled the usual unspoken rules of survival.  He followed Blink and Whipcrack into the hanger.

  18. IC: Ruby

Ruby, having recharged the night before, was just shy of 100%, so she followed Stormer towards the dropships.

    IC: Morphos

Morphos watched Whipcrack push his way past the others to get out to the bay.  Inaudibly grunting in disgust Morphos followed, making a mental note not to trust Whipcrack.  Actually, not to trust any of his new 'teammates.'  Every one of them would be more than happy to reduce the number of shares.  A grim smile crossed his features.  And they had better not trust me either.
