This is a tribute to an epic on the old forums called the Mata Nui Olympics. (WARNING: This is a link to the archives. as such, please note this link will result in logout on clicking.)Enjoy the story!IntroductionWith apologies To The White Lady, Isreali Toa, and Jedi Gali. Vakama sighed. It had been a long time since Makuta had been defeated for good. Now, there were games about be broadcast all over Spherus Magna soon. Nuparu had invented a device that allowed this to happen. Now, Vakama and the other Turaga listened to Nuparu explain this invention, but they had trouble understanding it. However, they supported it. Why? Because among the few things they and everyone else on Spherus Magna did understand was Nuparu, as an engineer, knew what the Karzahni he was doing. Onewa called these games the Olympics, although not even Onewa himself knew where in the freezing blazes he got the idea from and readily admitted it."Is everything okay, sir?" the broadcast booth attendant asked Vakama. "No, Roger, I'm fine. I would say I'm getting too old for this, but I've been around thousands of years longer than this technology," Vakama joked. He had a feeling there was a universe where he had done this before. The first event was an Approximately 80.2 kio dash. Roger the broadcasitng booth attendant counted down. "We're on in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, we're on," he said. Vakama smiled and said," Welcome to the first anual Spherus Magna Summer Olympics!" He and the other Turaga then introduced themselves. And thus began the games.Review Topic.
