Hey everyone! Let me just say it's good to be back. Thanks to the administrators for their hard work and dedication. Go BZP! Anyway, here is my most recent MOC, Fracture: http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=485622 Fracture is the newest member of Von Nebula's "Black Hole Gang", as I call it. He was once involved in counterfieting money and artwork but wished there was more action in his life. To prove that he was super-villain material, he crafted two hand-held energy thingies and broke Von Nebula's team out of a temporary HF prison facility. He was automatically welcomed to the team. Highly intelligent and cunning, Fracture would use his wits to slip by security cameras and guards. But now that he posesses a load of power he's starting to change his tactics, often working solo and getting himself caught. It will take him a while to learn how to act along with the team instead of against it. Fracture's weapons absorb kinetic energy and apply it to his targets. He can supercharge an object to the point of explosion or stop a hero in their tracks. Building energy into his fist, he can literally pack a punch. This is my favorite MOC. For once I'm really pleased with the construction of the torso, as well as the overall asthetics. C&C welcome!

It is indeed good to be back It's also great to get back into reviewing MOCs, as I shall do with this one. What really grabbed my attention on this MOC was the colour scheme. I really like that you've kept it mostly black, yet included an underlayer of yellow on some of its limbs and chest. So kudos for that.Tubespam works alright, although I'd like to see more twists and tangles. At the moment they just seem kinda pointless. I mean, he's got tubes coming from his arms and going into... his arms. Where's the practicality in that? I do, however, like the larger tube going down his back. The tail looks fine. The head I'm not sure about. I can see what you were trying to do with the laser-eye, but it didn't really work. Just looks like someone stabbed something sharp into his left eye. The jaws have potential, but there is a huge gap to be filled in the middle of his face. Is there any way you could attach two more jaws onto the outside of that t-bar piece? I think if you have them slightly angled further upwards, then place the tooth pieces so they're angled inwards, it could look quite decent. It's very flat on the front though, and the ribcage(?) doesn't look complete. A couple more black teeth could easily fix that. I'd recommend somehow covering up that grey ball-joint piece on the waist, or just removing it altogether. I've seen my fair share of those on waists, and they always make me cringe every time I see them. So good job on this, overall There's definitely room for improvement, and I think this MOC's got quite a bit of potential. It's good that you're trying something a little bit out of the ordinary - perhaps making it even more unhumanoid would be a good idea. -FtC
