So yep, I finished building Scorpion Pyramid.
Just one problem. I'm missing two things: 1) a dark stone gray 2x2 brick and 2) the sticker sheet with the door decals.
Naturally I just used a 2x2 I had lying around in my collection (and thank God it wasn't one of the rarer pieces that went missing), but I guess my pyramid will have to go without Anubis' face staring into the souls of adventurers for a while until I get a replacement.
On the plus side, though, this set is LEGIT. Anyone wi
It's my birthday!
Had a pretty good day so far. Finally got a break this month to play some baseball, which was cool. Also Friendlyyyyy's. <3
Also I learned how to wallhax in Portal to reach the party room, so I did that today. :3 Did you know you can place the Companion Cube over the cake? It's now a COMPANION CAKE.
Sorry for not blogging this yesterday, but I've just been really busy finishing up college work. My last day is tomorrow though. =D
DAY 15

A table, obviously. Not really the greatest design, but some furniture is nice. Lamp shade is a weird shape, but it works, I guess. I'm just not sure why there would be a lamp on a table that you're supposed to sit at. What it does need is FOOD.
LOTS OF FOOD.
DAY 16

There's a reason I skipped yesterday this time. This is a chassis for a police car. It's a simple design of course, but man I am so happy to see this old chassis piece make a comeback. It's so cute! :3 Today's set was a body to build on the chassis. I was hoping that today would complete the car, but sadly, it's still missing pieces. That should come tomorrow. Until then, I can't really do anything else with this. Also, FINALS. all due TONIGHT. AAAAAGH.
Mine would probably be the ones they were playing at the pharmacy the other day. Dunno what they were called, but they were just awful. Some people should never be let near a microphone. D:
1) Replace stock elevator music clips with Metroid elevator room tune
2) Program it so that the Samus Intro Fanfare plays when the doors open
This would be so incredibly awesome.
You would not believe the lack of good MM pictures out there. And not having Photoshop/GIMP doesn't help any. D=
But it's better than leaving a bad Weegee edit up for two years so whatever.
Well, Tomorrow (Or maybe today by the time I post this XD) Is December, so I'll be starting my Advent Calendar review then, but first I want to post pictures of the box:
What's probably the coolest part is the inside (as promised, there will be spoiler tags):

This is not unlike the 2009 calendar, which had an ice pond scene, only this one is indoors, which is a fitting setting for the models inside.
The wall contains a city s
Just saw a video titles "Lego - Marble Run - 100% Lego - Final - Wistuk".
That was incredible.
Man I wish I had that many flex tubes because I'd love to make something like this.
Also My winter break ends tomorrow. I am trying to read to get a head start but there is just SO MUCH D:
AT LAST The police station has its last wall! I really like the full model. It's adorable. :3 Mr. Cop and Mr. Fisher take a coffee break after a long day of ridiculousness and crime-fighting. Mr. Robber can't escape now, right? Riiiiiiight?
Oh yeah, I still have obligations. Forgot about that. And now the police car is finished! It sorta looks like a jeep or something. That fits pretty well with the 2012 Police theme. Overall it's really cute. :3 Let's all have a Christmas parade! Oh yeah, there is a tree in the background. I forgot this was an Advent Calendar for a bit.
These robotic hamsters are actually pretty fun to mess around with. >.>
One happened to roll off a table and break. Now it usually refuses to respond to buttons and makes noises and rolls around by itself. It's undead I tell you. o_o
20 days till Christmas.

This set is pretty neat. It's a drum set, which is cool, because I'm pretty sure there's never really been anything like this in a LEGO set before. I kinda wish those drum sticks were shorter, though. Also, that second cymbal is actually a spare, so you can have two if you want.
You can also make it a hanging cymbal, like so!
That's what we call "improvisation." I'm pretty sure Dr. Snowlock doesn't mind
When you emphasize a word, but misspell it.
I HAET doing this, it just makes the type more noticeable. D:
ALSO BIRTHDAY IN LIKE TWO HOURS THIRTY MINUTES...ISH.

Today's model is a log sled, along with some logs for the fireplace and an axe. The short, round one was used as a stand for the axe, but that looks silly, so I moved it. Also, no, you cannot sit a minifig on the sled, but you can stand one on it.
Mr. Mapleton is about to answer an important question: Can you light a snowman on fire?
YES, YOU CAN.
Exhibit A: Throwing lit dynamite into a pyramid
Exhibit B: Shooting a door open and then throwing more dynamite
Exhibit C: Oh dear Ra again with the dynamite
Once again LEGO's heroes seem more evil than the "bad guys."
asdf three days until Christmas. I've been so busy getting ready ._. SO It's a second snowmobile; this one is for the police. I'm still not a fan of repetition in this calendar. Now that I think about it though, the sled from yesterday was probably intended for this snowmobile, due to the colors. The robbers are cornered now! What will happen now!?
