ARM announced the other day that they are developing a new processor - A smartphone processor that is quad-core. Each of those cores runs at 2.5GHz.
That's fast enough with one core! It's 2.5GHz dedicated to a single application, which will make it blazingly fast! Multitasking will be incredibly smooth, with a core for the task and three spares for background tasks. 2.5GHz alone is almost triple the average today (around 900 probably). The Beast Below was awesome, especially the end. As a whole, the episode was more 'Moffat' than The Eleventh Hour, but not fully spooky and stuff, like his other episodes. The Next Time trailer was probably my favourite next time trailer ever, lol. I can't wait for next week. I'm sending this from my phone, on the way to Jenolan Caves, which is a pretty cool cave system where you can go adventure caving and on guided tours. I went for school some years ago, and it was the best excursion I've had. this probably won't be as fun because we're not adventure caving and that was probably the best part. I remember we called it Time Lord Cave, because the opening was tiny but the cave inside was massive. I digress.

I just posted an entry about how there's been a massive earthquake in Chile, and that there would be a tsunami.
The wave just hit New Zealand. It was 3 metres tall.
It could get smaller, it could get bigger, it could stay the same. I'm hoping for the former. A >3m tsunami in Sydney would be terrible. It probably wouldn't get to our house, even more so because it's on a hill, but still, it'd wreck the CBD.
On Thursday night, I ordered the HTC Legend, and it shipped yesterday (Friday). So I'll get it by (hopefully before) Friday! I can't wait, the postage said 3-5 business days from ship date, which puts it Wed-Fri, but I'm not sure if the weekend would knock a day off. I hope so, because I want it by Tuesday, so I can get some apps, and try to customise it, and, hopefully, make a LED flashlight app (Because the Legend has an LED camera flash), which is something I want, but nobody seems to have ma
I watched V for Vendetta last night. Thrilling. Absolutely brilliant. I'd probably place it in the top ten, if not five. The entire thing was just fantastic, especially the ending. If you haven't seen it, get on that, it's worth it.
Business week continues, and I, for some reason, seem to be the ideas man in my group. I came up with the logo, name, and slogan of our company, and quite possibly the advert too. Being the most creative is a new experience for me. Hm.

I think it's quite good. The circuitry's only come out twice in the half a day I've had it!
But now all the holes are superglued shut. Shouldn't get any more problems. Bit delicate though, I'll need to keep it on something that doesn't get things crushed easily. A lanyard, perhaps? Or my keyring?

I'm going to learn coding for Android. A good first step is a simple, easy, app. So I'm going to make one.
I need ideas, though. I'm currently thinking of making a mobile version of BZPower. But are there really that many BZPers with Android?

My dad bought me an 8GB Home Brand USB stick (a USB from Woolworths, the food shop). Since it was encased in a loose plastic box, I decided to rip it apart and make a new case. I used a grey 2x6 brick and a grey 2x6 plate, superglue, and a dremel. I'll get some pics up soon, it's a bit messy.

Well, today, the 28th, is my birthday. I'm 15, yay!

In the title, I was, of course, making a pun about high-5s and the current state of politics in Australia. Hung Parliament, which at this point looks like it'll mean a Labor minority government or a House of Reps re-vote. But enough about that. Things have happened recently!
I got an injection (triple antigen) yesterday. It was fine, I had an anaesthetic patch to prevent pain, but all day since it's really been hurting. I had to come home from school because it hurt too much. Stupid tetanus.
As I lie here, having just watched the first of two shows (the second of which I attended live) by the immensely wonderful Stephen Fry on the ABC, at around 10pm, I remember my weekend, with caves and animals galore, The magnificent, wonderful Jenolan Caves yesterday and today the Taronga Western Plains Zoo, both so easily entire weekends themselves, Jenolan especially and perhaps more. I am a collector (sorta), so it's not good that I won't be able to anymore.It is awesome that the story's going to continue.
