Spent the last two days trying to rebuild Boba Fetts Slave I, the 2006 version. It's a nightmare trying to find any of the pieces though. It must've only taken a couple of hours to build out of the box, but when you don't know where any of the parts are, its already taken 3 times as long and I'm barely over halfway done.
Often when I watch a film, I decide I want to write a Short Story or Epic inspired by it. Unfortunately this week I've watched 10 films. Anybody got an idea for a crossover on the 3 Bourne films, Pirates of the Carribean 2 and 3, Night at the Museum, the Matrix, The Dictator, MIB and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2?
I have now got it, and it's pretty good. I haven't tried online play yet though. Trying to get to grips with the controls, which seem to be slightly different to AC1 and 2 (I don't have Brotherhood or Revelations). Loving the tree climbing though. Tomahawk has so far not come across as overly awesome, although I haven't used it that much.
My attempts to go without Lego while my exams were on failed, however they lasted long enough for my abilities with power functions to diminish somewhat. Where once I could build a fastish, solid, good looking car, there is now a slow, slightly wobbly car with no bodywork at all. And unfortunately I can't rectify this, because I still have exams and only have a little bit of time to devote to these things...
Android noob here, I have a shortcut to BZP on my phone, but the icon is just like a red flag with a star on it. Is there a way to change the icon, and is it possible to make it Tohu?
So I made this enhanced version of my avatar, but I don't want to use it, because there is something wrong with it. Can people critique it, so I can work out what is wrong with it? Because something is wrong with it, I just don't know what it is.
Just made the payment on my largest bricklink order to date. It includes a metallic gold Kaukau and a copper mask of victory. I've been meaning to get one of those ever since I got full proto. Also include are a lot of epic technic pieces of varying levels of awesomeness. In other news, I believe my premier membership is going to expire some time in the very near future. I'd like to post pictures of the new parts, but I may not be able to if I lose control of this Blog. Will work on renew
In preparation for seeing Iron Man 3 on Sunday, I thought it best to finally get around to watching the Avengers. Brain has exploded. In other news, I'm getting a new car on Tuesday.
Once again, I post a question in my blog simply because I can't be bothered to find if there's a specific topic in the forum to ask it
But anyway, I'm looking to make an Remote controlled MOC of some kind, but I need a controller, motor, reciever unit and whatever in order to do it. I've had a little look, but I'm lazy and poor. So does anyone know whats the cheapest way to get these parts, what sets they come in or just how I can get hold of them in general?
The one Lego related event thing it was possible for me to attend, and I'm going on holiday that day. Wish I had my own laptop, then I might be able to do it there. But no...
Measuring speed of sound by the doppler effect. The first part involved a stopwatch, a sound recording, and my folding bike. The second less conventional, and less legal on multiple levels part was using my mates Fiat 500 down the road at the front of the school. The first run was hilarious, my mate drove down the road at 45mph (30 limit ), while I stick my head out of the window playing the harmonica (Well, one continuous note). We later did it again, this time with the car horn instead o
Just been browsing bricklink. All the original Toa Mata Kanohi came in all the Mata colours, except the Kaukau, which seems to be available in Yellow, a strange light blue and orange. All the Mata colours are there except brown. Is there a brown, or are the yellow or orange ones the brown in trans or something?
I've managed to resuscitate my old laptop! It's so friendly and familiar. It even kept me logged in! Who'd have thought I'd be so pleased to see Windows Vista.
Straight off, once again saying these are all games I own. I don't feel I can judge any game I don't own. An interesting selection none the less I think. Taipu1's Top 5 PS2 Games #5 - Simpsons Hit and Run At number 5 is probably one of the most popular PS2 games ever. I don't know anyone who owned a PS2, and didn't have hit and run. It was the first game I ever played on PS2 as well, way before I owned a PS2 myself. The appeal for me is being able to see a bit more of the world the Simp
If you are running an ad blocker, tough luck it won't work on this entry If I could describe Nestle Shreddies in one word, it would be 'delicious'. Supermarket own brand malted wheats are not the same. Is it normal to have 3 bowls of cereal at 10:30 at night? Yes, because Shreddies are just that good. To summarise this entry in 3 words: 'Shreddies are awesome!' Dunno what countries of the world actually have Shreddies, if you've no idea what I'm talking about, I pity you. A place w
That was an epic F1 season starter, and a well deserved win for Jenson Button. Pity Hamilton lost a place to Vettel who lucked out with the safety car though. And a shame both Caterham's retired, their pace was good. Now deeply looking forward to Malaysia next week.
I've been working on my Toa Mata Nui MOC, made a few minor adjustments to the arms and legs, and completely rebuilt the torso. 01 Kanohi look good as torso pieces, but making them stay in place is a nightmare, I've made them a little more solid than they were, but they still come off more than I'd like. Don't suppose anyones found a good technique for holding '01 masks in place? I also really wish the Ruru was available in Keetorange.
Following my evenings experiences yesterday, BZPower is back in business. And by that I mean the server was busy. In a way I was pleased to see it, because it means the site was busy and it was kinda reminiscent of old times. But mostly it was annoying. I would've posted this yesterday, but unfortunately...the server was busy.
