Just saw The Dark Knight Rises again. And it's somehow even better the second time? EDIT: This was my 100th entry? If I'd noticed I might have posted something a little more meaningful. Still, it's some sort of milestone.
Just watched the video we had all been waiting for back christmas '08. We were all expecting it, and we all know it now, but it still sends shivers down my spine three and a half years later.
In my efforts to get better at using Open Office Draw, I decided to draw something that was simple but could have a lot of detail and shading and whatever put into it. So yeah... FLOWERS!
Just made the payment on my largest bricklink order to date. It includes a metallic gold Kaukau and a copper mask of victory. I've been meaning to get one of those ever since I got full proto. Also include are a lot of epic technic pieces of varying levels of awesomeness. In other news, I believe my premier membership is going to expire some time in the very near future. I'd like to post pictures of the new parts, but I may not be able to if I lose control of this Blog. Will work on renew
I started making a revamp of Sidorak maybe a month ago, then I got bored and finished him off rather lazily, then took one photo before my rubbish camera's batteries ran out. I had better uses for the parts, so I took Sidorak apart before I could take any more pictures. Didn't think a single picture was topic worthy, so here it is in blogness.
In preparation for seeing Iron Man 3 on Sunday, I thought it best to finally get around to watching the Avengers. Brain has exploded. In other news, I'm getting a new car on Tuesday.
Anyone know whats happening on there? It seems to be working again, but none of the images on pages seem to be working, and multiple pages seem to be missing. Is this just a routine problem, or has there been loss of data?
Is anybody elses inbox telling them they have new messages when they don't, or is it just me? It's the second time in two days, and I freak out when I see I have a PM, I usually average about 4 a year, because I have no social life.
I've gotta say some of the adverts on BZP are getting a little spammy. I know I'm not the sites 999,999th visitor, and if I were I doubt Black Six would give me a prize for it. And I know that area the page is advertising space, not my inbox. Not that I ever click on any of these adverts, I just find BZP an interesting choice for those kind of adverts.
Saw the movie 2012 today. Just thought I'd post my opinion randomly. It's a good movie, well worth seeing, but the survival rate seems a little unrealistic to my mind. If you've seen it, you'll know what I mean.
Just because I live close to my school does not make it an excuse to go home during free periods. Why does everyone say I should go home, it's against the rules! Or am I just a bit of a square?
Considering buying an HF or Super Heroes set to take a look at the modern parts and builds. Given the last Lego set I bought was Tahu Stars in '10, it'll be interesting. Has anyone got any suggestions as to what would be a good set to buy? I'm interested in the newer armour parts and structural body pieces. I'm not interested in helmets particularly, or those pieces with the Hero Factory logo on.
Thankfully, it looks like the big name changing fad is over, although admittedly it was the second one in about a week, so it's always possible another one will come along. Frankly, I'm just pleased Black Six is Black Six. It's just difficult any other way. Of course, April fools very soon...
I have now got it, and it's pretty good. I haven't tried online play yet though. Trying to get to grips with the controls, which seem to be slightly different to AC1 and 2 (I don't have Brotherhood or Revelations). Loving the tree climbing though. Tomahawk has so far not come across as overly awesome, although I haven't used it that much.
New I shoulda preordered AC3, I was like a day late for getting that DLC. Don't see why you can't just have the outfit anyway, you wear it on the Aquila, why not outside of naval missions?
