I do miss my normal laptop. My dads new machine isn't fully set up, the only program I have to use is Google chrome. And I'm not allowed to install anything new on here.
Mazeka's moved to a new home - the mantel piece. His ball joint socket on his shoulder can't cope being touched and moved around any more Mata Nui and his wrist might going the same way, and Solek and his kneck. why lego changed the style of ball sockets I don't know. Do they want them to break?
Not sure if I want to make it through to the finals, I've already canabalised the MOC for parts. If I do make it through, I'll have to rebuild the MOC to send it off to brickfair.
I just spent half an hour making a sprite on Game maker, and then it stops responding! Why is Game maker so awesome, and yet at the same does it suck so bad. How I ever made any kind of game in the past is beyond me!
Once again, I post a question in my blog simply because I can't be bothered to find if there's a specific topic in the forum to ask it
But anyway, I'm looking to make an Remote controlled MOC of some kind, but I need a controller, motor, reciever unit and whatever in order to do it. I've had a little look, but I'm lazy and poor. So does anyone know whats the cheapest way to get these parts, what sets they come in or just how I can get hold of them in general?
Bah, Runescape! Why do you tell me I have a free 14day membership trial, then not give me one! The Shilo Village quest incident shall hang over me forever, unless I pay more money, which I will not.
I've been working on my Toa Mata Nui MOC, made a few minor adjustments to the arms and legs, and completely rebuilt the torso. 01 Kanohi look good as torso pieces, but making them stay in place is a nightmare, I've made them a little more solid than they were, but they still come off more than I'd like. Don't suppose anyones found a good technique for holding '01 masks in place? I also really wish the Ruru was available in Keetorange.
Hoping to get the first chapter of my epic rework up tomorrow, then have a new chapter every Monday. The key word there is, of course, 'hoping'. Pretty likely it won't be up tomorrow, but certainly in the next week. And I hope I will manage to do the chapters on an organised basis.
My attempts to go without Lego while my exams were on failed, however they lasted long enough for my abilities with power functions to diminish somewhat. Where once I could build a fastish, solid, good looking car, there is now a slow, slightly wobbly car with no bodywork at all. And unfortunately I can't rectify this, because I still have exams and only have a little bit of time to devote to these things...
Following my evenings experiences yesterday, BZPower is back in business. And by that I mean the server was busy. In a way I was pleased to see it, because it means the site was busy and it was kinda reminiscent of old times. But mostly it was annoying. I would've posted this yesterday, but unfortunately...the server was busy.
Back in school again . First PE lesson back, and there's still snow everywhere and the teacher says: "We're going to be doing our cross country runs!"
wasn't really cross country, just three times around our school field, which is pretty big. Doesn't make it easy though, particularly with all the snow.
After years of showing the same episodes repeatedly, Channel 4 have finally gotten around to showing an episode that they've shown before, many times. Luckily, its the most awesome episode ever conceived. Tomorrow, at 6pm UK time, Hank Scorpio will return. And I am excited for this most epic of Simpson's episodes.
