Blade can jump for joy now. I actually listened to him after all his suggestions. =P
Buuut, I already got the next few blog themes planned out, so you guys won't be suggesting stuff for a little while. >=D
So some time ago in 2009, some friends and I went to the park near my school and rode the carousel, as I blogged somewhere in this crazy blog.
Well, today, the same friends (plus one more) and I all went back to that park and got into a playground that was basically empty. We climbed around, slid, took pictures, and made a video where one friend explained her morning wash-up and make-up routine and everyone else was her over-excited audience. We had a lot of fun spending ~45 minutes there, an
So I watching an anime, Tokko, right?
And I finished all the episodes.
I disliked that ending for some reason... :/ A bit sudden, and left you at a cliffhanger.
So, I've arrived home from staying at my grandmother's house.
As soon as I arrive, my mother says Michael Jackson is dead, and I hear more information on the news as well.
Rest in peace, and you will be missed, Michael Jackson. I was never a big fan of his, but to see such an icon die is quite saddening.
We watched this movie today in art class instead of having a final exam. My teacher said that she chose to watch this because of all the interesting design used throughout.
And it was beautiful. Just beautiful.
Glucagon is just an awesome-sounding word. Don't you agree? It sounds like something someone would name their mech or robot (at least, I would xP). But, sadly, it is something that regulates blood sugar levels when they get low. How disappointing.
And Blade got the 800th comment in the blog. Not very exciting comment, but I just happened to notice it. =P
My family is in the process of moving this weekend, from the 2nd floor of our apartment building to the 5th. Pointless? Nope, the space is larger for my family (two bedrooms instead of one) and I get my own room. my own room But yes, this will be a tiring weekend. Dx
I went back to Borders bookstore, and read four volumes of Black Cat and six volumes of Bleach. Ten volumes of manga total today, and fifteen total for the weeks so far.
I was also looking for a book required for reading over the summer for school, but the bookstores didn't have it in stock... :/
Link.
This is Vocal from the Violinist of Hameln manga. Made on 9" by 12" Bristol paper and with Micron and calligraphy pens.
First thing - on stuff I noticed in the picture that could have been improved: Some of the black parts meld into other parts and make them hard to differentiate. The characters on the ball seem placed a bit unevenly and mess up the inside circle. And his hands might be too small?
Second - Let me tell you about Violinist of Hameln. About 140 chapters of stuff, wri
Well, first off Blade just asked for a drawing of his character I've long owed him, so I have to find/restart that. xP
Also, for County Fair at my school this Friday, I'm doing face painting for the kiddies. So that's some more work!
But I did get a head start of that Senior Project, so it's looking good.
...to get a small strand of hair out my cup of tea just now. I worked very, very hard, and I succeeded! My cup of tea was once again enjoyable. =D
New character fanart is up - this time it's America. And it's full color.
Speaking of Hetalia, I have the song Marukaite Chikyuu stuck in my head. It's kinda of annoying a song but it's still lovely.
To the new staffers: congratulations, and I hope you have a wonderful time doing your job. To the dudes (Kex and Makaru) who stepped down: sad t
So yesterday I got my new desk. My dad got a lot of it built, but it's not complete so obviously I'm not using it yet. Plus the set-up of my new computer (YES) will take a while. So it won't be so soon that I'll be blogging and doing my online homework on there. ;_;
Smells like wood in here though. =D
We played jeopardy in History today to review for tomorrow's Midterm. We'd also played it a few weeks ago for a normal test. But, the highlight of the game was my team's name.
For the normal test review, we were "The Losers Who Win at Walmart."
Today, in the same group, we were "The Pirates of the Tofurkey Noodle Soup," or shortened to "The Tofurkey Pirates."
And guess what?
We had the most points the both times. (:<
I've been watching it recently.
Also, in school when I had free time, I finished a drawing of Sebastian. One guy recognized the reference image when I was starting, and he said "Oh it's the Black Butler guy, right?" and I'm like "Yeah! "
Maybe I should stop telling people it's from "Kuroshitsuji," and instead say "Black Butler" for language convenience? xP
As some of you might know, I've recently started writing my book, which hopefully will be successful and published, after looong work on the concept. I started the concept about a year ago, then dropped it for no reason and went back to it a few months ago, and heavily improved upon it.
I already have three chapters down as first draft, and I don't have a prologue yet (in the works). I'm not sure if this only a single book thing, or a multiple book story - that's undecided, but I should be gl
The teachers treated us like the first day, except it was shorter because most of us already knew the teacher. There was only one or two new kids altogether in my classes, and one already knew the teacher. xP
I got a ton of papers of back. But I'm out of looseleaf sheets for homework so I need to go to Staples soon. ;_;
So my PE teacher changed. No more weight training, it's now going to be sit-ups, push-ups, volleyball, basketball, and all that stuff in the gym. Except I heard the teacher
So I was digging through my backpack this morning to empty it out of useless stuff, and I find a ruler. Correction, a piece of a ruler. Then the other piece. Pics (possibly bad quality, but no worries):
Shorter Piece
Longer piece
Put together
The broken edge of one piece
Perfect divide
I seriously have no idea how it broke, it's like a laser cut through it or something. o_O
So finally I got a working locker. Here's what happened:
So throughout the year so far, the combination I was given didn't work on the locker I was assigned. So today, I went to the Main Office to sort this out. I first had to run up * and check the serial number on the lock. They said the actual lock on that locker had a different combination, and belonged to another student. She gave me the combination and told me to check if there was stuff. I ran up to the sixth floor from the second and
Well, the first part of the state Social Studies test was okay. Fine. I didn't get all of it, but I think I'll survive. Tomorrow's the next part, the Document Based Question.... meep.
But on Thursday I have a class placement exam for high school. Hopefully it won't be difficult.
And next Monday, I have a math final that spans for three periods of class time.
And on next Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, I have a science final spanning those days.
Oh boy it's crunch time.
Apparently the rain and cold from the trip made me sick.
My head hurts and my throat hurts and my nose is stuffy. D: In the morning I could hardly breathe and felt like I was dying. ><
