See here.
I drew it a while ago, just the sketch, but today I found it in a "Random Art" folder and decided to finish it.
Also I updated The Documentary, there's a link somewhere in my content blocks... Just check it out.
So here are some pics I took at Brickfair. Not a lot, though, cuz some photos sucked or didn't have good MOCs in them. So enjoy. =) It's just one gallery, but fun pictures. =P

Although I already got 100 for the last marking period in art class, nothing's ever over.
I was assigned with two other people (one is a horrible artist btw) to create the Senior Painting that will be unveiled at graduation. The biggest thing I'll be doing is the actual painting of it, as well as correcting any anatomy problems on the people, perspective issues, etc. We have less than two weeks to finish it.
I also have my art class Senior Project, which I'm not sure what I'll do it on yet
So in my area, we were supposed to get loots of snow over the weekend, according to Mr. Weather Man, whose parents decided to name him after his adult profession, apparently. And, we get no snow at all! But, that means the sidewalks are littered with like ten thousand different kinds of salt because people overreacted. There's the round little salt that looks like snow from far away when in huge bundles, there's crystallized salt, and there's even teal-colored salt.
The bad part is, the salt
Fall trees have been taken away and broken trees trimmed to ugliness. Snow is tainted by mud and salt and evil from beneath. The demonic messages were removed (a couple got rewritten), and it's just all different.
It's terrible. ;_;
One day really makes a difference after a snowstorm.
But the icicles are still good.
I went back to Borders bookstore, and read four volumes of Black Cat and six volumes of Bleach. Ten volumes of manga total today, and fifteen total for the weeks so far.
I was also looking for a book required for reading over the summer for school, but the bookstores didn't have it in stock... :/
Apparently stores and the television and advertising think that we can still go shopping and get deals... this Black Friday.
Not all of us can time travel, you know. :<
It snowed all day and I forgot my umbrella so I got reaaaally wet. My hair's dry now, so it's all good. =D
So in school, when we looked out onto the sidewalks from the windows, and saw the snow sticking, we all covered our faces in shock with our hands and cried out "It's sticking!" in high-pitched voices.
Later, in Italian, we were watching Mafioso and then some assistant principal's voice came on over the PA system, saying that all clubs were canceled and other stuff like that. But, snow
Woooo I'm going to one tomorrow
LATE NIGHT PARTIES
...Or so it would have been. I have an academic program Saturday morning, so I need to go to sleep earlier and wake up early. I hope I don't ruin the party by being a good student. xP
See y'all Saturday, anyways~
Since it's winter, I'll ask everyone a question: Do you like snow? Or do you absolutely love it? Or do you hate it so much that you go out into the streets with a battery-powered hair dryer or something to melt all the snow down?
I personally like how snow looks, and how soft and clean it is when it first settles. I also like catching individual flakes in my gloves to see what they look like~
But I hate being out in the heavy snowfalls when the snow and wind are practically slapping my face.
So today I went to a university library. Since it's a Saturday, it wasn't very crowded, but there were people there.
But... it was super quiet. Like, even very low whispering seemed like screaming in that extreme silence. It was so intimidating. D:
Never underestimate the power of silence.
Everyone's sick... Me (still ;_, a ton of my friends, some people on here, everywhere I go I see sick people. So, I would like to present a nice little song to fit the mood:
I'm so Sick - Flyleaf
I will break into your thoughts
With what's written on my heart
I will break, break
I'm so sick, infected with
Where I live
Let me live without this
Empty bliss, selfishness
I'm so sick
I'm so sick
If you want more of this
We can push out, sell out, die out
So you'll shut up
And
Snowsnowsnowsnow! Not blizzardy yet, but it's sticking to the ground.
So today, after a delicious luncheon, I headed downtown to shop a little with my papa. I went to a holiday bazaar, and bought a couple of gifts. For myself, I got a t-shirt with a Kraken attacking the Brooklyn Bridge. B)
After that I went to a clothing store and got some... clothes. =P
Then i went back to the bazaar to get something for my granny, and also bought a hot chocolate. But, this was no ordinary hot chocolat
Someone in my fencing club told me I had an accent. A different response from when most people notice I don't have one even though I was born in Europe.
So shock?
*talks about random stuff now*
I still need to come up with present ideas for people...
It seems everyone's been singing Lilium recently. I guess I'm not alone.
Happy Hanukkah to those to celebrate. =D
For art class, we're going to draw the flower that we think represents us best. Help me pick a flower, guys!
Back from the cinema. I was supposed to see Avatar, but the earliest show time was two hours from the time I got to the theater, so I chose to watch Sherlock Holmes.
It was brilliant.
Remember when I tutored two of my friends in math, and I bet that they hardly got anything out of that?
Well now a guy who's missing at most twenty homework assignments from the marking period is asking for it. Although he'll probably want more just the answers than actual help. -__-
In other, happier, news, my Senior Trip is tomorrow. I'm off to a Dude Ranch upstate, I'll describe it tomorrow. B)
The teachers treated us like the first day, except it was shorter because most of us already knew the teacher. There was only one or two new kids altogether in my classes, and one already knew the teacher. xP
I got a ton of papers of back. But I'm out of looseleaf sheets for homework so I need to go to Staples soon. ;_;
So my PE teacher changed. No more weight training, it's now going to be sit-ups, push-ups, volleyball, basketball, and all that stuff in the gym. Except I heard the teacher
food entries ahoy
Today in science, despite having a test (which I think I aced~), it was a very good period. First, I had brought in some Ukrainian/Russian biscuit cracker things that were vanilla-ish, and the three people who sit near me were eating them the whole time. One of these three brought in a pack of dango, and it was really my first time trying it.
It was delicious. @_@ I want mooooooore.
So yeah. The other day I had brought in some Russian gingerbread cookies so that was co
Today at school, the Foreign Language department held the annual International Food Fair. Being a freshman, twas my first time there, and it's pretty cool. Students bring in food from various nations, the main focus being on foods from the countries that the school teaches languages of - Japan, Italy, France, and Spain (or anything Spanish in general). They were open during lunch periods, and the last two periods of the day, the French and Italian classes 'cleaned' up the leftovers by eating the
Only 16 people came to school, since it was Senior Skip Day (always the day after Senior Trip). Originally it was 20 people, but several went home before classes commenced. We also didn't have classes, but rather had a day of play and boredom. Moreover boredom, though.
I did help hang up artwork for the upcoming music show, though.
But still, 16 people isn't even one full class. It's half of a class. xP
Yesterday was the ceremony that announced the winners of the children's book scholarship content I entered with my friend (too lazy to dig up the entry on it). We didn't win, but one entry from my school won second place.
The winning entry was a cute story, but the art wasn't very good. Still cute. I own the book, signed by the authors, cuz they gave them away free at the ceremony.
The New York Stock Exchange, where this took place, is the fanciest place in the world inside. Seriously. And,
