Yesterday, I submitted the last of my applications to college. It was difficult and stressful, but I'm glad that I have the whole process over with! Although I don't really feel free, because senior year workload is putting pressure on me. But hey, at least I have one less thing to worry about. Hopefully I'll get into the schools I selected, especially my top choices. Right after submitting my application, I feel a bit nervous about it all, but I know I'll be able to set aside those thoughts u
Our Italian teacher told us to take three index cards and illustrate three common classroom phrases to help us study.
I did that I drew the most horrible cartoons to illustrate them (not stick figures, though). And I major in art at my high school.
*shakes head at self*
Remember the contest I mentioned a while ago in here? My friend and I managed to enter that contest with the help of my English teacher. The illustrations and all were on computer, so we had to email it. My teacher only saw the book today since I emailed it to her, and she said it was wonderful. With three exclamation marks.
And recently I got a letter saying our entry is in the Top 10 finalists for the city. B)
Winners are gonna be announced at a ceremony around June 3, I'm excited~
So it's just me, a glass of milk, cookies, a very Russian Windows XP computer, a Firefox that marks every single item typed in as incorrectly spelled, some Ra music, and my Bloodstorm character sheet that I brought here on my MP3 Player.
This is a pretty cozy home.
So I'd been finding images for the past week so I settled for these.
Banner's slightly blurry but I like it still.
And lyrics match theme. =O But I don't remember exactly who said that quote above the banner, but I'll have to live with that.

Recently, while still in school, I had been feeling a bit stressed by the workload being assigned. But every day, when I turned on my computer, I was confronted with my desktop (1024x768).
And that picture made me smile every time, no matter what. <3
I was just out and bought myself a nice, long brunette wig. What for?
My cosplay of Green, of course. Probably next weekend, I'm going to cut and style the wig. However, does anyone have any suggestions for how to get something like his hair? Anything would be helpful, more so if it's inexpensive.
Today after school was fun. I went with some friends to the Apple Store near my school, but it was closed until 5:00 PM for a little tidying up. The reason was because there was a long line outside the store of people waiting to buy the iPad. But the staff outside said that if you're not buying an iPad, you'll be let into the store at 5 anyways.
So we chill until 5, which wasn't for less than an hour. We got there just as it opened. Funny thing is, for like the first twenty people on that lin
So I was walking home, and from some apartment building across the street I hear a beautiful classical music tune. As I listen and walk by, white petals from a few of the trees on the curb just flew into the air thanks to the wind. I just froze and stared at the scene until the wind died down (though the music continued on). It was pretty awesome. <3
Another whoa moment was dissecting a fetal pig earlier. But I won't go into that. >__>
Tomorrow I depart for Boston for three days. It's just a trip to check out a few of the universities in Boston with my Saturday program peers, but I've been meaning to visit Boston at some point in my life and thus I am really excited to explore it once we're done with colleges. I'll bring my camera, but I'm one of those people who gets so caught up in a place that I forget to take pictures. I'm especially bad at this when it comes to conventions (I was recently at AnimeNext. The result? Zero ph
Today in Fencing club we arranged flowers! For one and a half hours! =D
But getting onto why, the Fencing and Soccer teams held a fundraiser where they sold carnations to people. $2 for the first flower, and $1 for additional flowers. You could have it sent to a person anonymously or whatever. And all of them had little messages from the senders, they were so cute.
So we had to arrange the bouquets of one flower, some were of two or three flowers. And then staple the messages on.

(in the park at around 6:30, at least)
So I'm on my new computer. As a Russian XP, it's faster and I like it. =D Took a long time to set up (sorry I wasn't on, Dudebot =P), but worth it.
Also in WB3 today was kinda funny. I was playing on a map, and had an ally Daemon AI whose hero I set to Level 50 for no reason (I figured out how to edit AI heroes in skirmish). So when I managed to build a Dragonliche (Undead dragon), I put him to guarding the allied hero, who ran around the map endlessl
Someone in my fencing club told me I had an accent. A different response from when most people notice I don't have one even though I was born in Europe.
So shock?
*talks about random stuff now*
I still need to come up with present ideas for people...
It seems everyone's been singing Lilium recently. I guess I'm not alone.
Happy Hanukkah to those to celebrate. =D
For art class, we're going to draw the flower that we think represents us best. Help me pick a flower, guys!
I took my science test this morning, as stated in a previous entry... And it was hard! D: The only thing I know I did well on was the stuff on biology and genetics. <3 genetics
It was cool.
Except for two issues: First, for the PE uniforms, we choose from either shorts or sweatpants. The shorts they sold only were XL, so I had to get sweatpants... ugh. >__>
Second, they said we weren't going to have ceramics class this semester due to the economically bad times. So, instead of three art studio classes a day, we only have two art studio classes a day, and both periods are consecutive since they're both Studio Practice 1. The teachers weren't sure if ceramics
uhhhh
But yeah, 93.14 overall average.
Lowest grade was 85 in English and PE, but in English the highest grade she gives at the beginning is a 90 so I'm satisfied. PE is just PE and isn't weighed that much anyways.
Highest grade was a 98 in Geometry. o___O
All other classes were 90's. So I'm goooood. B)
Also costume is almost complete. >=D
My middle school math teacher almost ran me over in her car this morning while I was crossing the street to the train station. She had to make a turn, and ended up almost hitting me. Then she pokes her head out and says "Hi!"
I'm just like ".__. Hi," and a wave.
And finals next week. Aka double-period exams. ;__; Only benefit in these is a shorter school day, and that one extra long period of lunch.
Midterms are this week! I'm probably gonna do okay, just gotta study. Just not gonna stress myself out.
Tomorrow I have a math midterm. I would have had an Italian midterm, but since I got above a 90 on the last test that wasn't long ago, my teacher said I don't have to take the midterm. Joy!
Also, check the content block somewhere down... over... there. It has a list of characters, links to completed images, and bolded names are the characters I'm currently drawing. Today, I drew Gaara (it
(well, my computer decided to restart itself while I was writing this entry the first time)
Tangled was a lovely film. Beautiful music as well, combined with animations and romance.
But... Rapunzel's hair didn't really get tangled much during the movie, with all that action and wilderness around her... How does she manage all that hair and brush it so smoothly every time?
