If I don't stay sick and get excused, I'll be going on a trip to a camp from Friday afternoon to Sunday. And on Sunday I probably won't come online because I need to do the homework from Friday and from today cuz I missed it....
So I'll see you guys Monday evening if everything works out. =D
(and sucks that Sunday is a clear day after they predict pouring rain for Saturday for the city ><'''')
I saw it on Friday... For a movie from 1968 it is scaryyyy ._. I was not expecting that.
But then again it also addresses interesting issues from the time period, which was the topic of discussion at the museum place I watched it at after the movie finished.
And I was with friends too so I had a shoulder to lean on during the movie. xP
10/30/2009
Promises to be an epic day.
So yeah, on the 30th our school is letting all the students dress up in Halloween costumes (masks aren't allowed though), and there'll be a competition and stuff (I find it impossible to pick a winner from several thousand students). And it'll be a shorter day, hopefully (I get the schedule tomorrow), and after that will be a parade of us students.
But... forget about the parade. I'll be going with friends to the local art museum where there's an e
At least, those stand things you open and pull the newspaper out of are.
This morning, I was trying to get the free morning paper to read on the train ride to school. The thing I mentioned above was made of metal here, and I was also carrying a heavy textbook that I had to return today. I open the thing, but because of my textbook it kind of slips and injures me right under the nail of my middle finger and on the joint just beneath it.
Luckily, I had a bandaid with me and covered it up, bu
sometimes I wonder why this is called a "daily" rant and I will wonder about that in every entry But I attended NYCC over the weekend, and had the chance to see the ever wonderful Kohaku! Lots of money was spent, mostly on anime merch/art and cute things, and then there's the free stuff I managed to get. Now I have one mess of a desk to deal with for a long time as I hold off on organizing it...
Recently I've been getting into anime, and along with it the music from said animes.
Quite unexpected considering my listening is usually mostly metal.
omg shoes
So I got a sleek pair of white sneakers, and really hot black boots that go halfway up my lower leg. The boots are a pain to get into and get off, though, with all the laces they have. But I'm satisfied.
I was also looking for a backpack that I could use this September for school, to no luck yet. I saw an interesting bag online, with Train Heartnet on it. I wonder if my parents will let me get that. =P
It's some Archos brand. But it's black, and has a a nice screen. Really pretty. 8 GB, and for fifty bucks or so.
Now I gotta get all my music onto it... Yare, yare...
We had a half-day at school today for parent-teacher conferences, which my parents never attend. Per my birthday (which is actually tomorrow), I was out celebrating with friends, and I got a new mouse pad: One that has Shinku (from Rozen Maiden) on it. Wheeee
(as I was looking up that picture and writing this, one of the Rozen Maiden openings started playing in WMP ._.)
Other goodies: A crocheted Pokeball, two of those small voodoo doll things, a turtle cell phone strap, and a cube necklace.
So Dudebot told me about the new Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya episode, and I watched it. It was awesome. EE is starting to get interesting, as I was told it would.
I need to somehow get my hands on the books...
and lol Koizumi
So yesterday I got my new desk. My dad got a lot of it built, but it's not complete so obviously I'm not using it yet. Plus the set-up of my new computer (YES) will take a while. So it won't be so soon that I'll be blogging and doing my online homework on there. ;_;
Smells like wood in here though. =D
So I'd been finding images for the past week so I settled for these.
Banner's slightly blurry but I like it still.
And lyrics match theme. =O But I don't remember exactly who said that quote above the banner, but I'll have to live with that.
Luuucy <3
I've been watching it recently.
Also, in school when I had free time, I finished a drawing of Sebastian. One guy recognized the reference image when I was starting, and he said "Oh it's the Black Butler guy, right?" and I'm like "Yeah! "
Maybe I should stop telling people it's from "Kuroshitsuji," and instead say "Black Butler" for language convenience? xP
National Novel Writing Month is in ten or less days now, and I'm still not ready for it. ;_; I have yet to title my novel, for one. I also need to name my locations (though Blade is helping with that... maybe). My characters need a little fine-tuning. My plot has some holes that need filling in. And I still need to get all my music set up. This is going to be one fun and stressful month...
Ah man, I dislike this week so far. I've had fake stomach aches for half of it, haven't gotten enough sleep, and can hardly focus on my artwork. Thankfully I'm not drawing or cutting in Printmaking, we're only making the actual prints with the giant, old machines.
Except today I'm legit sick, and I could hardly walk this morning from the pain, so I stayed home. There's breakfast on the table, and I'm hungry, but it doesn't look appetizing (nor does anything else in the house) and I'm afraid t
