Japan Day

Today was Japan Day, and I attended to huge festival. So many people... Dx Can't forget the cosplayers, too. First of all, the food was impossible to reach. They gave away free tea, and that had no line to it, so I got tea 8D But the food (which was free too) was harder: lines extended far, and I managed to hop onto the shortest line: for dumplings. And oh my goodness, those dumplings were good. The line for sushi was the longest. Sorta figured that would be so. ._. Anywho, other stuff. P

Ughh

So I was hungry, and I grabbed a yogurt to eat just a few minutes prior to posting this entry.   After eating it, I returned to the computer still hungry. Another minute passed, and my stomach started hurting for more than just hunger reasons, and I felt something in my throat (died off a bit after). So right now my stomach is annoying me.   D:

Partay~

Gonna go to a birthday party for my friend in few hours. East side here I come~ And I had barely any days to pick out a present for her so I just got her a card.I wish I had more time, such as a weeekend, to plan a gift, but oh well. She said that the party wasn't very well plotted either, so it's all good. =P And I sketched and inked a drawing of Lelouch. But I dunno what to color it with... Maybe coloured pencils. Or I'll scan the lineart, then colour it in coloured pencil and on the c

Giant Popcorn!

So in art class, my teacher has this huuuuge bag of kettlecorn, and instructed us to take one of the popcorns in it and blow it up (in terms of size, not actually making it explode D:) so that it fills up as much area of the paper as possible. And then shade it. And we have to resist the temptation to eat it. Yeah, well it looks nothing like popcorn. It's a giant lump of clay or a rock in the picture. Other people have their popcorn looking like alien babies or seals or something. But if i

Curse You, Rain!

The heavy rain postponed Field Day/County Fair till Monday (although that does postpone my Math final to Wednesday...). Which meant that instead of that or classes, we took Predictive Assessments. >< This entire week has been tests and tests and tests...   But, Monday will be bomb.   Also today, the 7th grade Dean gave me a bag of popcorn. I was just walking into the office to say it's time to ring the bell to change periods (cuz that's my job), and he asks "What do I do about it? Give

New York Comic Con

sometimes I wonder why this is called a "daily" rant and I will wonder about that in every entry   But I attended NYCC over the weekend, and had the chance to see the ever wonderful Kohaku!   Lots of money was spent, mostly on anime merch/art and cute things, and then there's the free stuff I managed to get. Now I have one mess of a desk to deal with for a long time as I hold off on organizing it...

Oh Snap!

One reason to thank Leader:   He reminded me through undisclosed methods that I have a state Social Studies exam tomorrow and Wednesday.   And I left my notebook at school. ;__;   Although I end up getting nice grades, History's really my weakest subject, but I did do fine in the review today, so let's hope for the best...

Dreams Are Crazy

I feel like Sisen with these crazy dreams. (=P) But yeah, two nights ago I had an interesting dream. It was set in the real world, and everything looked like it does here, but the people were changed. There were three main groups of people: Zombie people, people totally under a trance, and people whose personalities have been flipped. The zombie people just moped around, although one guy who looked like a farmer chased me and tried to kill me. I lost him the first time, and the second time

Fevers fevers

Remember how last year, during my spring break, I had a pretty bad fever?   Well after a few days of minor sickness, I got a fever today. It happens to be the week before a break from school, too. I may have to miss the last two days of school depending on how I feel, but I hope nothing major happens since the semester is ending this Friday and finals finished today.   At least those art supplies I ordered are here to keep me company... and my DSi (aaaaah I want a 3DS for Pokemon).

Dancing Roaches

So on Monday, when I had a day off, I went downtown to Gamestop and all, to get my shiny Suicune. Went well. But while I was there, I happened upon several people dressed as cockroaches and dancing. Mostly square dancing. Now imagine normal roaches square dancing. ._. It was apparently meant to advertise something about dirty hotels. Regardless, they gave out free Purell that you could attach to your bag or keys.

Woot Swords

So today in Fencing, since half the newbies didn't come (sucks for them!) they let the ones who were there go into full fencing dress and wield swords. There was something annoying about a part of the outfit they gave me, but... I had to live with it. They were going to order new things soon anyways, at least. But the swords were fun. The way you're supposed to hold the sword, with the handle past your hand parallel with your arm, and then the certain positions and where it is supposed to poi

Yahooo

No school until next Tuesday! Yesssss Reason: There is some standardized testing going on, and most freshmen don't take these tests in January since tyhey're make-ups from last year. Which means most freshmen get no school. This June and next year, however, that could change. But yeah, I'm pretty happy. This Wednesday I look forward to going downtown with some pals, and I need to prep for a literary essay on the Wednesday after I get back. And I have to correct my geometry test. >__>

What I Drew Today

So we were drawing an avocado, right? But I got bored with it, so I set it on fire. And then I drew this kind of black torch holder thingie to hold up the flaming avocado. An offering to the gods! Speaking of drawing, I got a drawing of Sebastian Michaelis done (will scan sooon). What character should I draw next? =D

Not Happy And Happy At The Same Time

Not happy that my program camping trip is on the same weekend as Medieval Festival. The fest has been a tradition of mine to visit and dress-up for in all the 10/11 years I've been in the United States, and I can't go this one year. ...Unless it rains, which it'll move to the next weekend. So, unfortunately for my other friends, I'll be praying for it to rain on the day of the festival. RAAAAAIIIIIIN Happy cuz... well, I was in school. All the people I chill around are awesome. Art is awesom

Woooo

So I got my report card and test scores today, along with yearbook and diploma. I got an 84 on that State Math exam - a passing grade. No Integrated Algebra next year in high school, woot! My average went down .25 points - but I still like my 94.75. The yearbook is cheap, but good memories. And my chest hurts from hugging a certain guy in farewell after we got our stuff... >_o But I did manage to lift him up lol. And his smile is AMAZING. As is his hair. <3
