I'm now back from my vacation. I'll probably have a few pictures to show, when ever I decide to upload them.
We got up to the cabin Friday evening. On Saturday we did some boating and I went geocaching. I didn't find the geocache but I did recover a nearby benchmark. We also went swimming after supper. Sunday was our annual Labor Day party. In the morning before anyone got there I ran out and found 1 geocache. I also recovered another benchmark.

My last day of school for the week was today. No more classes until Monday.
I had a test today for my college algebra class. Hopefully the class as a whole does better on this test because the class average for the last test was about 55%.
I'm not sure what I'll do with my free time for this week. I have a MOC I'm working and I might get that finished. I'm also going to go geocaching this weekend, as long as the weather isn't terrible.

Track has started now so I have about 2 hours of practice every afternoon. I now past the point where I'm dead tired after practice but that doesn't change my work load.
I also work about 10 hours a week so that's taking up time.

I'm going to try to get another job this week. One of the grocery stores near where I live is hiring cashiers.
I need a job to pay for my trip to the jamboree and I want to get a cellphone. For a phone I'm looking at getting something from Virgin Mobile they have pretty decent rates for Pay as You Go. Looked at some Tracphones but their rates are a bit higher then Virgin Mobile.
Currently taking dynamics and general plane motion of a rigid body makes my head hurt. I want my particle kinematics back. These last two and a half weeks of the semester are going to be a nightmare too. For some reason last semester wasn't nearly as bad this semester.
I thought today's live episode was pretty fun to listen to. There was a lot of behind the scenes stuff that I didn't imaging went.
The only bad thing was I didn't really participate. It seemed like it started out a bad foot. I had to download and install Audacity at the last minute since I forgot that I probably needed it. That went okay. Skype somehow got corrupted though between when I installed it yesterday afternoon and this afternoon. I had uninstall and then reinstall it at like 3
My room is currently in process of being cleaned. It has really needed it since there is still stuff lying around from a couple of months ago, when I cleared out my dresser so I would have more room for clothes.
My LEGO collection is still a mess, however. Sets are still piled up from the beginning of this year and I have partially disassembled MOCs stuck in random totes around my room. This is one mess that I won't be tackling anytime soon.
Twenty six days and one thousand one hundred and ninety four pages later I've finally finished Les Misérables. This is the second largest work of fiction I've ever read (if you count all three LOTR books together). It was well worth all of the time I've spent on it. I liked the ending, it wasn't too sad, but it wasn't overly happy either. A couple of my reactions in the spoilers.

I'm going to have about 10 days starting tomorrow to write an essay reflecting on some event in my life. It has to be 4-6 pages long.
I don't know what I'm going to write about. I have a few ideas but none of them are very promising. The top two are track and the 5 weeks I spent as a CIT in 2008. We're suppose to use dialog but I don't know how I'm going to do that either.

I picked up Ackar from Target today. I originally went in there for the heat vision rahkshi, but they had Ackar so I got him instead.
It goes a nice compliment to Mata Nui and my Tahu Stars. There's nothing complicated about the build. I like the color scheme, for some reason it seems like I'm partial to red sets.
Next on my Bionicle to get list is the Stars Rahkshi. Nothing else really interests me.

I'm going to be going to a track meet tomorrow. I;m looking forward to it. Last thursday I ran the 800M in 2 min 51 sec. I hope to beat my personal record set at the end of last year, 2 min 49 sec. I wasn't as dead after that 2:51 as when I ran the 2:49 so I should be able to do it.
I suppose if there ever was a good time to get sick this is it. With classes done, I don't have to worry about missing and lectures.
Probably just the common cold, but it isn't fun. At least there is no cough like early last summer, when my "cold" turned out to be whooping cough.
I'm normally pretty quiet and shy. Because of that I've never really enjoyed the idea of public speaking. It's not that I'm terrified of it, because I'm not, I just never liked the idea. Due to what is pretty much a universal college general education requirement, I had to take a public speaking course. I feel pretty lucky though, because I get to take the special public speaking course. I am in my school's honors program, so I was able to register for the freshman honors public speaking cou

I had another track meet today. It was probably the least fun one I've run in so far this year. It was a Junior Varsity only meet so most of the Varsity people weren't there.
This was the third meet I've run in this year. My personal record for the 800 meters is 2 min 49 sec set last year at the last meet I ran in.
This year I've gotten a 2:50 and 2:51. I ran another 2:51 tonight. I probably would have been able to beat my record but I got crowded at the starting line and got off to
School Started for me on Monday. Bad news was that I still didn't have all my classes lined up.
I orginally was registered for a calculus class, but it wasn't the right one. I had to drop that and none of the classes for the claculus class I need to take fit my schedule. Well, there was one, but the fact that about half the people on a professor review site used the word evil to describe the professor scared me off.
I ended up adding general physics. That didn't really fit my schedule
