Dang SA-X is hard, finally got a good rhythm going, just to die by the Omega. But nonetheless, I finally beat it. Gameplay wise, I think it's my favorite Metroid so far, although I just love the atmosphere of Metroid II
Will somepony kindly explain to me the different background pony fanon names? I barely pay attention to fanon, but it gets confusing when people start talking about "Dinky Doo", or "Berry Punch". Anyone know of some sort of list or something that has them all?
Hey, got another Calculus question for anyone who can answer: Knowing the Maclaurin series for ex, (1 + x + x2/2! + x3/3! ...), find the Maclaurin series for ex + x^2 and use it to find the fourth derivative at f4(0). Anyone know how to do this? I can find the series, just not the derivative value. Thanks!
Such a good game! I tend to write off Gameboy type games as sub-par to console games, but I honestly like Fusion more than Super Metroid. And that's saying a lot.
I am confused by the 1^infinity indeterminate form. I know how to prove that the limit as x goes to infinity of 1^x equals 0, but the limit as x goes to 0 of (x + 1)^(1/x) equals e. Anyone with more calc knowledge know why this is?
So for those who don't know, I'm a huge LOTR fanboy. And have been following The Hobbit progress like a hawk. They recently released another production video which came with a nice surprise. It turns out, that since filming is being done in 3D, that the two main concept artists John Howes and Alan Lee have been drawing their concepts in 3D. As seen here. My school is dumb. I went in to take a calc test today. Since it's an online class, I'm supposed to bring an exam pass with me. It being early in the morning, I forgot it. Usually this would be a non-issue, I just go to the computer lab and print out a new one, right? I go to the computer lab to find out you need a student ID to use the printer.
