It joins Portal on the list of games I have beaten in a day. I went into the game expecting a mediocre experience with some cool time manipulation. The game was actually pretty great. The only real complaint I have is that guns feel so weak at the beginning of the game. IMO it pulled off everything well. So I played B:AA. I went through the 20 minutes of following around the guards and Joker. Gee was that boring. I FINALLY get to the Commissioner, AND GUESS WHAT? The game freezes during the cut scene. BUT WAIT. THERE'S MORE. I restart it. It gets to the menu fine, yadda yadda. I continue my game. The last save point was BEFORE the seemingly endless walking. To be completely honest, I haven't got much done since the last update. I've been spending most of my time trying to get water to work properly, and I think I finally got it right. I also added some props. Um, let's see... Oh yeah, I also decided on what textures I'm going to use. Just got an email from EA; my Nano Edition is still delayed. HOWEVER They gave me a code to download the Limited Edition for free while I wait for my physical copy to arrive. That in conjunction with the 75% off code they gave me earlier has made me love EA.
Today I started my Graduation Project. 0_o I barely got anything done in that hour, but now that I'm more competent with Hammer hopefully I'll be able to work faster in the future. I set out to Solitude by fast traveling to the nearest location, Meridia's statue. Upon arrival I faced a FROST DRAGON. It was pretty tough, but manageable. I just completed my ME2 playthrough as an Infiltrator (at 4:30 am ) and Miranda died. :| I think I might be cursed with a member dying every time. When I do my second playthrough as my ME1 save, EVERYONE WILL SURVIVE. I will replay it if I have to, until everyone does. I decided to make some different decisions this time around, so that I can see how they affect ME3. Man, when I blew up the Collector base, Illusive man was aaaaangryyyyyyy. Oh well.
