Your depiction of frost giants is completely despicable. In other words, I watched Avengers. It was okay. Not extremely good, but decent. I found that I could stand Tony Stark this time.
Because I automatically assume they have the same mindset as myself: namely that in grieving, they want people to shut up and not murmur the usual cliche condolences that the fifty+ people before them already said. Yeah, that's why my way of going to a wake is to pay my respects, say hello, and hide in some obscure corner.
You know those weird transparent looking files with names like '~WRD1146'? Well, one of them had an updated version of my story. Lost all the formatting, but I got the text back, which is the important thing. Now I must resist the urge to dance around crowing with triumph.
So, not only did my only up to date copy of the story I'm working on (106 pages last I checked) get corrupted to the point where I was unable to recover anything, but it completely vanished during an attempted recovery. Fortunately, I have a draft I sent to my brother on the 16th, so I didn't lose too much. Some of the scenes will be a little hard to replicate. Overall, an annoying loss, and definitely a headache filled evening. Rewriting. Euh. That about sums up how I feel. I think I'll sac
That song officially takes place as one of my least favorite. Bleh, what can I say? Occasionally my choir has/is given a poor music selection. The sad part is that we almost sang another song instead, but my choir director had forgotten the sheet music for it.
Yes, I seem to be in that state, not just here but online in general... Just got back from my brother's, refreshed from a weekend of constant philosophic and writing talk. My story has reached 81 pages, and I've finally began to hit waves of writer's block. :/ The Hunger Game RPG is kinda on a back burner right now.
I'm transcribing from my intellect. Seriously, it's annoying how I write an entire story in my mind, and it takes forever to write down, not to mention how it never sounds as good... Off topic, American Dream by Casting Crowns is simply epic.
When you use an official character, yet you inevitably butcher their character for the simple reason that their character is utterly foriegn to you. I think I'm going to say 'screw this, I'm mutating this character's character.' Much easier.
Although I am of that strange group that actually liked A Thousand Suns, if Burn it Down is a good example of LP's new album, it will as good, and probably better than A Thousand Suns. It doesn't sound much like Hybred Theory or Meteora. I would say that it sounds quite similar to Minutes to Midnight, which is good, because I quite like that album.
That song is officially one of the most epic hymns in existence (Aside from Adoro te Devote!), I'm currently playing it on my computer. Have a blessed Easter, everyone.
That sums up my view on The Mockingjay, as well as the moral standings of most of the characters. Revenge, suicide, et cetera, all annoyed me. Yeah, the ending made me feel like throwing up. Seriously. I mean, I may like tragic endings, but in all honesty, this one... Felt wrong, incredibly wrong. So yeah, I like the first book a lot, the second book was good, and the third was partially tolerable. Overall though, the ending has a habit of tainting the rest of the story: I doubt I'll reread
With the fanatical bookworm impatience to read Catching Fire. XD Hopefully I can find it online with semicolons, colons, apostrophes, and quotation marks.
And in accordence with my bad luck, it's an online version that removed all apostrophes and quotation marks, as well as (I think) semicolons and colons. Fun, fun fun.
Having gotten approval from Black Six, I am currently working on the starting post. If you wish to become a critic, PM me. And yes, critics are needed pretty badly right now.
So, I'm sure most of you have heard of Kony 2012, and the day of silence this Friday. This got me thinking about that, so I decided to post a blog entry on the universal topic of fasting. This is not essentially a religious subject, for it has many non religious applications. An atheist or agnostic can fast just as can a Jew or Muslim, and a baptist as much as a Catholic. Fasting can be used as protest, penance, respect for the deeds of others, or aiding in establishing greater self control, a
Have you ever began work on an epic, only to realize after you've written two chapters that your main character's personality is totally different than how you first thought it would be? Chapter editing time!
