So there's a cute girl in my Chem class. I just gave her my phone number. I've never done that before and now I'm freaking out. I think this is the reason I never talk to anybody. Excuse me while I curl up in a ball and hate myself.
I recently built myself a sky fortress in awareness that hardmode might be approaching. This sounded awesome until I heard that wyverns spawn at that altitude and can faze through walls. So than I get a bright idea: Lets surround the fortress with lava! Three empty tiles all the way around, and I've taken several trips and am not even close to filling it...
So apparently there is now a digital version of Terraria on 3DS. which I had no idea was happening but here we are. For reasons I do not understand, physical versions are coming for both the Wii U and the 3DS, but the 3DS version is priced at $20 for the digital version, while the physical version is $30, and it's releasing the end of February. I understand charging more for a physical version, but why more then 3 months after the digital version?
Me: Let's spawn the destroyer and snipe it from my space fortress. Destroyer: Oh hey look! I can get in! Me: Yeah, I'm doomed. And that's why I can't progress in hard mode.
Finally! It reminds me of when I used to play zero mission when I was younger. (Say what you will, but I found that game immensely entertaining as a child) Things that have killed me so far: Some spikes A random creature A mutant plant from the ceiling (Probably has a name.) A freaking chozo statue (Did not expect that one.)
This one took far too long. Really, really great game. Brought me back to when I played Zero Mission as a kid. Next up: Prime! If I can get through that omega pirate...
I managed to grab the game earlier this morning. I feel like this game has a huge amount of potential, but I'm still getting used to how everything works. I also managed to get a hold of Zero Suit Samus and Ganondorf, as well as grabbing a Pit when he went up online. If anyone else here got the game let me know as I'd be happy to try out some new levels.
Ah yes. That wonderful time of year where setting my wallet on fire is more fiscally responsible then going on my computer. While we're on the subject, Both Bastion and Transistor are currently on sale. And Bastion is like... REALLY good. So yeah. Just a suggestion.
So I have 4 steam sale cards that I'm probably never going to use. These are: 2 For pixel Piracy at 25% off one for 10 Second Ninja at 66% off and one for Richard and Alice at 66% off The last two are good for about two weeks the Piracy ones are good well into next year.
My Eary Bird steam Controller came in. I've wanted a controller that gives me the ability to use mouse precision with the convenience of a controller layout for quite a while. And this might actually do that, but there are clearly some stuff to be sorted out with it. Overall I'm fairly happy with the controller. It probably helps that the thing is massive to accommodate my stupidly spindly fingers.
So for some reason my mind started wandering (again) and this simple sounding topic came into my brain. Statistics. Percentages. It's really odd how we use them. we use them in weather, we say there's a 39.54% chance of rain. but in reality, it's either going to rain. Or it isn't. in science, if you do an experiment, than do it again, the exact same way it was done before, it should have the same results. of course you would have to assume nothing changed. which is probably never safe to assume.
If you have not played the game That right there is pretty close to the entire premise of it. If you have, you may remember a certain portion of the game having an uncanny resemblance to that comic. All sources I could gather say this comic and said game have absolutely no link whatsoever. (This comic is from 2011, the game released in 2012 and development started in 2007, with a demo that shows the games direction and tone released in 2009.) So make of that what you will.
I get the basic principle of the game, it's basically a more advanced chess match. But anything beyond that is eluding me. I've been able to struggle most of my way through some if Awakening but I've hit a point where I got stuck and put it down, and am hoping to pick it up after I'm willing to remove Pokemon from my system. It might be worth noting that I don't generally play turn based strategy games. So, any tips?

What made the book so awesome was that the viewpoint was from someone who had only ever lived in that world, meaning anything and everything that was so alien and wrong with the society in the book was given almost no attention until the character starts seeing things he isn't normally supposed to. I'm enjoying this game far too much. I just got through running the ten man brawl with every character. (Meaning I've actually played every character now.)
