Man, that review was so off-the-hizzle that the hizzle was left alone and empty because the review was off it. It was so fun to read that I had fun. While reading. I gotta get me that gorillephant. I mean, its picture is just sitting there all like, "Yo, m'man, come grab me at a store or somethin'." And I'm like, whoa, I just saw you in the store a couple weeks ago so I should've brought some money to buy you when I saw you in the store a couple weeks ago.
Ramblings of a Writer has had a good run, but it's almost time to put it to rest again. The premier membership voucher I won in a contest expires on January 28. I wish I had done more with this blog, probably with premier membership altogether, but at least I got some use out of it. Thanks to all who have read this blog and commented; maybe I'll return in the future.
For Monday co-op: -Rewrite an essay explaining why or why not I agree with the quote from To Kill a Mockingbird, "The Bible in the hand of one man is worse than a whiskey bottle in the hand of [another]" -Fill out comprehension and vocabulary worksheets for To Kill a Mockingbird -Begin writing an essay on the Kelo vs. New London case -Finish several drawing exercises For Friday co-op: -Put together a cast list I would choose for a film adaption of Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld ...It doesn't
Here it is, complete with new paragraphs of introductory prose and an updated layout. If you're going to post about it, please post in the topic, thanks. Also, I'll be making a new banner for the topic soon enough, don't worry.
I have a good idea based off the title Ignition: A scientist attempts to create sentient life, but meets difficulties powering it up. Of course the actual story will be far more in-depth; this is just the premise floating around in my head. Hopefully I can find time to enter between homework and NaNoWriMo.
This has to be one of my favorite Christmas songs. That piano tune is so memorable. I based a Pandora radio channel around this song and the resultant playlist is five times better than any Christmas radio station I've heard, so that makes me appreciate the song all the more.
I'm getting ready to leave for Friday co-op, but I thought I would share a few pictures I took just now of a WIP MOC that I now consider "scrapped". Warning: Large photos! -Left -Right -Top Why am I scrapping this MOC, you may ask? Well, three reasons: 1. I have no idea how to design the back legs or tail. 2. I can't help but feel there isn't much flow to the MOC; it's not very streamlined. 3. There is no other missile launcher piece I can find in my home that has enough space below the ba
It's about time we got our own topic. Remember, Ancient Chronicle is part of Mata Nui Inc., which seeks fan support and feedback wherever possible. If you have an irk about the story, tell us! I'm Chief Communicating Officer of Mata Nui Inc., one of its three leaders, so naturally I'm compelled to help advertise this project. Oh, and did I mention we're partnered with KanohiJournal, now KanohiJournal Publications? No? Well, now you know.
As my younger brother finally finished reading a day or two ago, I started on the book. The first thing I noticed is that Karen Traviss doesn't describe locations; I wish she did, as otherwise the book seems great. The characterizations are fantastic, the dialogue seems natural, and thus far the plot appears to be sound. I've just finished Chapter 4 and am about to read Chapter 5.
I managed to catch the tail end of Amazon's massive five-dollar-digital-album deal yesterday and bought a few: Plans by Death Cab for Cutie Tales from Topographic Oceans by Yes Clockwork Angels by Rush Les Friction by Les Friction Les Friction wasn't on sale, but considering the album had both vocal and instrumental versions of the songs, and that the other three albums were on sale, I couldn't resist.
