Also, as a side note, Smeag is dumb and his internet bill needs paying, so his apartment's internet access has been shut off. Hopefully all the bills will be paid by this weekend, but we shall see. Whatever the case, I'll only be able to log on sporadically in the meantime. Love y'all!
I've got love for you if you were born in the 80's, the 80's
I've got hugs for you if you were born in the 80's, the 80's
I'll do things for you if you were born in the 80's, the 80's
I've got hugs for you if you were born in the 80's
This is basically the greatest song ever recorded

Love Shack! Love Shack, yeah
I'm heading down the Atlanta highway,
Looking for the love getaway
Heading for the love getaway
I got me a car, it's as big as a whale
and we're headin' on down to the Love Shack
I got me a Chrysler; it seats about twenty
So hurry up and bring your jukebox money
The Love Shack is a little old place

EDIT 4-24-10: Re-posting this for reasons similar to its initial posting way back when - both for the person in question and for all who care for said person. I know tomorrow will find better things. ^^
This entry is dedicated to a very special person who has had some rough times lately.

And hoping something better comes tomorrow.

I made this for dinner last night. It was fantastic! This is a piece of Indian-inspired cuisine; Indian food happens to be my favourite kind of food (followed closely by Chinese). Give me some vegetable korma and I'm a happy man for weeks.
This is another recipe that uses only the microwave, so it's very simple to prepare - and I'm not going to lie, it's one of my favourite things I've cooked. Now, I'm going to say ahead of time that for this recipe - and all recipes I'll post - things
I enjoy cooking, and it's a pretty useful skill to have when you're off on your own, living by yourself on a meager budget. The meal plan I'm on here at college covers lunch and dinner during the week (I just make breakfast in my room - yogurt, instant oatmeal, cereal, bagels, et cetera), but on the weekends I have to feed myself. This is fine, though; I live in a house with a bunch of friends rather than a dorm, and we have our own kitchen here. So I try to make some nice meals on a shoestri

I am directing a production of Hamlet by William Shakespeare. It is a one-hour adaptation of the play, condensed by yours truly. Admission is free, and the show dates are April 28th and 29th at 8:00 PM in Johns Auditorium at Hampden-Sydney College just outside Farmville, Virginia. Clearly I have mastered the prepositional phrase.
Anywho, it's going to be totally awesome, and you should come see it if you can. I can give detailed direction to get
Even when I'm worried about my future, uncertain about paths in life, and browbeaten by work and monetary problems -
At least I can always take comfort in the fact that Apartment 3-G is still there for me every morning.
Seriously it is the greatest comic strip. And Margo is <3 <3
I've had a long discussion with Tufi - I'm not for revolutions and destruction and fighting; you guys know that. I've always been the guy who is all about love and harmony. And talking civilly with the Empress brought to light a number of textures to this whole sordid tale that neither of us had been aware of previously.
When Andrew first asked me some weeks ago to take up the mantle of Site Admin, my first question was "Shouldn't that spot go to Jen?" I'm not at all opposed to taking on an a
I posted this in the talkback thread for the announcement, but I feel I should put it here as well.
I suppose I should step in and make some introductory remarks.
Firstly, as I said in the Powercast, I am humbled - truly humbled. It's been a honour serving the BionicleZone-Power community all these years and I am shocked, thrilled, and privileged to be able to serve in this leadership capacity. BZ's been a wonderful part of my life - a place where I've found friends, spent many good hours,
But we really shouldn't. The little things are where love is. ^^;
Sorting all the lights and darks
Making sure our love won't lose that spark
You really didn't have to
Funny pictures that you take
Dinner out instead of shake and bake
You really didn't have to
Movies and magazines
Filling our heads with dreams
Love is the little things
Love changes everything
Picking me up after work
Putting up with all my silly quirks
You really didn't have to
Saying that my cooking
The screen door slams. Mary's dress waves. Like a vision she dances across the porch as the radio plays. Roy Orbison's singing for the lonely...hey, that's me, and I want you only. Don't turn me home again; I just can't face myself alone again. Don't run back inside, darling - you know just what I'm here for. So you're scared, and you're thinking that maybe we ain't that young anymore. Show a little faith, there's magic in the night! You ain't a beauty but hey, you're all right. Oh, and
