M'kay, due to massive amounts of homework, I've never really had much time to type a decent-sized entry. So here's what's new:
Saturday: This'n's the biggy (biggie?). My mom went up to Redding (wherever that is) with a few friends to go shopping. She was gone pretty much the whole day. That afternoon, around 2:00-ish, the power in our entire area blew, right in the middle of a colossus fight in Shadow of the Colossus. And when my brother was typing his English essay. That didn't go well. Eith
I finally got to see X-Men: The Last Stand today. It was much better than I had originally thought. Very much darker and almost scarier than the first two (especially when you find out what one particular character can do to people). A bit disappointed in two things: Nightcrawler wasn't even mentioned, so I haven't a clue as to what happened to him, and they had a huge build-up for Arch Angel, and he was only in like three scenes, and didn't have that much of an impact on anything.

Well, tomorrow morning I head off on a near three-hour drive to college. So, I'm posting this to let you all know that I dunno when I'll have time to come on here again with all the madness that'll be going on (though, from the look of it, once I'm settled into the room I shouldn't have too much a problem hopping on here). Yup. After two months of renting DVDs, I finally watched both seasons of LOST so far, and am ready for season 3 next week. Woo! Great show, BTW.
Managed to type up my entire three-and-a-half page autobiography for Health class tonight, too! I tried to make it lighthearted (since that's my most laid-back class), so hopefully my teacher will get a kick out of it.
Going on over two weeks and still no ideas about that LoE puzzle. How much longer till spoilers for that are allowed, anyway?

Oh man. This PC game... it's not bad, scary-wise, but the suspense just grinds your nerves. You play this horror novel writer who goes to this old mansion to live, since the gloomy atmosphere might help his restless imagination. I walked around a bit, my character's real estate agent called, and it was ok. Then, up in the my character's (Michael) bedroom, I found a crumpled up note in the trash. Evidently, it was written by the previous homeowner, and he was going insane over voices in the galle

Hello there! I'm once again back at home for the weekend (I desperately needed some stuff) so I actually have time to blog! College is definitely a whole lot of work, but I only have a month or so left before the semester ends. Stressful, though.

And so, after quite a while, I finally finished the 956-page novel, Swan Song. It is officially my all-time favorite book. EVER. It's sooooo good! Now words can express how good it is.
And ya know what's weird? Even if you've read it only once, you'll remember just about every single detail twenty or thirty years later. I know, I thought it was impossible, too, but it isn't. And you'll never forget the opening line: "Once upon a time, we had a love affair with fire."

Man, I cut myself DEEP in my art class today. We gotta carve a design into a pad of linoleum with these little gouging tools. He said at the beginning to be careful where you hold the pad, because if you're pushing hard enough it can slip. And lo and behold, who's the first? Me, of course. Which didn't make me look good in front of the 14 girls in my class (since I'm the only guy). But then I felt better, because all but three people walked out with a band-aid.

I've had this game on pre-order for TWO YEARS. Yep, I pre-ordered it back in summer of 08 when it was supposed to be released that December, before the absurd amount of delays. As I was at college most of the time after that, I never got around to going back to GameStop and canceling. But my friend that works there says that they've still got it on hold for me, so come Tuesday I will FINALLY own this game.

Today was the first part of HSPA English -- my speciality! But I'm a little confused. I figure that one day would be Reading, where we'd read a story and answer questions about it, and one day would be Writing, where we'd do a Picture Prompt (get a picture and write a story on it) and a persuasive essay. Sony Pictures is making a movie based on Shadow of the Colossus. This is a VERY BAD IDEA. One, very rarely do movies based on video games work out. Tomb Raider wasn't terrible, but they could've done better. Silent Hill was the only one that was actually pretty good.

No update last night, as I finally got my hands of Final Fantasy: Advent Children. I understood the story all right, considering the only knowledge I have is from Kingdom Hearts and what few parts I've seen of my brother playing Kingdom Hearts II.
