Is it just me, or does anyone else think it was silly to add the 75/25 rule into the set of criteria the designers specified?
Just seems really tacked on and contradictory to the "use a combination of Technic and System parts" rule, since said rule doesn't specify any percentage, and would make for interestingness.

But that's not the point of this entry. The point of this entry is to showcase a ridiculously large MOC which I build recently: the Pillar of Autumn.
As anyone who has played the original Halo knows, the Autumn is the scene for the first and last levels. It is also a design that I thought I could replicate effectively with LDD.
2300+ pieces, 10 hours of building time, LDD shut down 8 times because of the number of parts involved, and I had to re

well, harder than normal usually is, which is pretty frigging hard to begin with.
at least it's not like Homeworld 2, which hasn't any difficulty setting whatsoever and can be practically impossible if you forget to downsize your fleet at the end of missions

I hope that Bionicle Legends#9's title isn't a placeholder. And I think next year's island will be in the sky. I know Greg said it wouldn't, but he also said that 2006's island wasn't Voya Nui. I'd say he's trying to fool us.

The Piraka torso fails. Even the Metru torso was better. Y'know why? Depth. The Metru torso was fairly thick from front to back, giving it a much better look than the Piraka/Inika/Mahri torsos that so plague sets these days.
So it seems that the Bionicle universe is full of wide-shouldered, thin-limbed, paper-torsoed apes.
This fails.
Lego, get some set designers with some knowledge of anatomy.
And, while I'm at it, get some who know how to do functions
It may be no surprise to anyone that I hate TLR, and consider it full of fail and dogs.
The only good thing in it is, of course, not at all story-related.
