Strakk
In my last entry, I said a local Fred Meyer store has the Glatorian. Today I was back and picked up Strakk. Here's a quick little review.
I'll skip the presentation aspect of the review.
Building:
Building Strakk is about as quick as the standard canister set. In terms of new pieces, Strakk has 2 ice armor pieces, his head, his mask/helmet, thornax/launcher, life counter, hands, and his axe. The set uses an L shaped Mistiksa and Phantoka to Matoran connection piece to conect
Saw a topic in the BS01 forum, encouraging people to buy Graphic novels 8 and 9, in order to help convince Papercutz to release Graphic novel 10. Figured I'd help get the word out.
I've renewed my Premier Membership for another year. Pretty fast too. I filled out the form this morning.
Yeah... I can't think of anything else to write here...
Why do I have a blog again?
*First person to correctly name the movie the blog entrie's reference gets a picture of a cookie.
This is my sort of annual visit to BZP to see how things are. This site was one of my main stomping grounds when I was in my teens. Man the time has flown by. I'm freaking 30 years old now! It's pretty cool to see that this place is still going.
Well, until next time!
-Serpent.
I'll be dressing up as a Red Shirt from the last Star Trek movie. No Trick or Treating though, Once you reach a certain age people start slamming the door in your face.

Ok, I'll admit I was a bit worried when the series changed hands, but 343 made a game worthy of the name Halo. Already finished the campaign (Heroic), and it will be interesting to see where they take the series from there.
So I got my tax return in today, so I put the money to something I've been drooling over since my brother let me try his back at thanksgiving. I am posting this blog entry from my new 64 iPad. So far I'm really enjoying it. When it comes to gaming, every issue I had on my ipod touch has been resolved by the bigger screen. The touchscreen keyboard is better for typing than I thought it was, which is part of the reason that this first post post is also part review. The size of the iPads screen mak
That laughing gas they give you is trippy. Now I'm going to try not to drool on my computer while I wait for half my face to stop being numb. And I think the experience has made my tongue suicidal. It keeps trying to slip between my teeth whenever I open my mouth.
Got it used at gamestop. Between some gift cards and selling my DSi on ebay, I ended up only paying half what it cost used. So far I just have Mario Kart 7 and am really enjoying it. Next payday I'm going to have to check out the virtual console to see if anything is worth getting.
So the forums are back online. I'd like to give a big thanks to the staff for their hard work.
Some topics couldn't be restored though, but at least nobody lost their accounts. Luckily the Wii Friend Code Topic, however, if you posted your codes after August 2008, you will need to repost them because they did not survive the downtime.
This blog entry marks the return of an old feature in this blog, only things are going to be a bit different this time. Since it will be more of a "whenever i feel like it" feature than a weekly one, Internet Junk of the Week will now be known as: FOR the LAWLS (Internet Edition) So now, here is the pic, which makes less sense than this one*: *On second thought, I don't think its possible to make less sense than that...** **On third thought, they both are pretty nuts.
... From my new Imac. I'm really glad I got this thing. I can finally play games that were made recently, and not 5 years ago like my last one.
I'm still looking for some good games. So far all i have is spore.* If anyone knows of any good fps, rts, or rpgs for the mac, or anything else thats good, please let e know.
*Kind of. It's actually my sister's game, so I can't create my own account or use the online features. I'll have to consider one day getting my own disk. After I get Micros
Another update to that WIP I mentioned a while back.
Well, Lego finally took the IR reciever off backorder, sot now it, and a remote are on the way, bringing me another step closer to finishing that tank. Since the last post, I've had to make a few modifications after adding the battery pack and motors. Because of the placement of the gears, I had to reconfigure them a bit because the treads were moving in opposite directions.
