Cuz I need some.
It's Wednesday, so that means I should get some news up on the front page.
However, I can't really find anything to report except the Glatorian being on sale on TRU.com.
Anyone got anything exciting?
If so, I got a cookie for you!
I'm working on a few MOCs for BBC Contest #50.
I hope I can get something done in time. Something good.
Lurk my Brickshelf and maybe, just maaaaaaybe, you'll find some WIP pictures later.
Man was this week hectic. And it's not even over yet. Mid-terms on Tuesday and Thursday, with the PSAT in between on Wednesday. Huh? Yeah. It wasn't fun. Things went a lot smoother than expected, though. Way too smooth. I just hope I end up with a good grade on my Algebra II mid-term. I need an 'A' or 'B' to boost my 'C+' to a 'B'. And if I got anything lower... Guh. How I ever hate tests. I never do as well as I should on them. I dunno, I just blank out sometimes, and it doesn't co
I'm asking for your assistance. Yes, you.
I haven't really been keeping up with the 2008 Sets this year. I've been busy. As such, the Official 2008 Sets Topic has a rather lacking opening post. I'm looking for a few people who want to help me write up a new opening post. Please either comment here or PM if you're interested in helping.
Thanks guys.
I've been working on an entry ever since I heard the theme on the first of the month. My first thought was to build a simple Toa-type MOC -- teal, black, and silver, with a black hau olda. Then what I had built came out monkey god-awful, so I demolished it. My next idea was to go for a mech-ish look, kind of like my Gauntlet MOC. While starting that, I got some good designs for more of a Toa-type MOC again, so I went back to that. Made some legs and all that good stuff. Now I'm working on f
Away - Breaking Benjamin
Cold am I
I'm beside myself
Because there's no one else
Have I grown so blind
Only God could save you
If you knew your way to the light
So fly away
And leave it behind
Just stay awake
There's nowhere to hide
I see you cause you won't get out of my way
I hear you cause you won't quit screaming my name
I feel you cause you won't stop touching my skin
I need you they're coming to take you away
Frail and dry
I could lose it all
But I cannot
Recall it
Starting yesterday, the album has been available for preview on a few different sites. I've been listening for a good chunk of today, and I'm very pleased with this album. I've been waiting for it all summer, and I can definitely say it lived up to my expectations. It's scheduled to hit stores on August eighth. All Target stores will be selling the album for $9.98 -- you won't find it anywhere else cheaper. The first pressing of the CD will contain an exclusive fourteenth bonus track: an ac
I've been busy. Busier than I've ever really been. Strangely, I'm also enjoying myself more than... well, ever.
Firstly, I have a lovely ladyfriend -- Christine. She's basically more amazing than you or I ever could be. And she's mine. : )
I've been working a fair amount... it varies by week. I work at Winn-Dixie, on the front end. Christine also works there, but she usually helps with the pricing (making the signs and test scanning stuff). Oh, and her father is the assistant mana
White Mystery - Minus The Bear
Left her at home in the cold London night
She had nothing on (not a stitch)
Nothing on (not a stitch on)
And she stays that way till I get back with regrets and (till I get back)
Another bottle of good times
Her body's under the covers
And there's nothing wrong with a single inch
And in the same position
Laying on her back waiting for a kiss
A kiss that she gets
Long and slow, starts at her toes
And then it goes and goes and goes and goes and g
Will be such an awesome day.
Tool concert in Duluth, GA at the Gwinnett Arena.
Two of my friends are flying up here to go with me. (I'm already up here visiting my mom.)
1. Learn to work the toilet seat. You're a big girl. If it's up, put it down. We need it up, you need it down. You don't hear us complaining about you leaving it down.
1. Sunday sports. It's like the full moon or the changing of the tides. Let it be.
1. Shopping is NOT a sport. And no, we are never going to think of it that way.
1. Crying is blackmail.
1. Ask for what you want. Let us be clear on this one: Subtle hints do not work! Strong hints do not work! Obvious hints do

Eye on the TV
Cause tragedy thrills me
Whatever flavor it happens to be, like...
"Killed by the husband"
"Drowned by the ocean"
"Shot by his own son"
"She used a poison
In his tea... then kissed him goodbye"
That's my kind of story
It's never fun till someone dies
Don't look at me like
I am a monster
Frown out your one face
But with the other
Stare like a junkie
Into the TV
Stare like a zombie
While the mother holds her child
Watches him
Decided to renovate this thing. At first, there were just going to be some minor additions. But then I decided that I wanted to add some spice, personality, you know? Here's what I came up with.Latest Creation - My latest MOC will be showcased for all to see.Music - In this area I will share images of some of my favorite bands. I will elaborate on the band, images, song lyrics, or general musical information in future blog entries.Useful Links - Very basic and general information that every
Over the last few days, as you've probably noticed, Brickshelf and Maj have been having extended periods of unexplained downtime. It's become apparent that Brickshelf and Maj are no longer reliable sites to host your images at.
The unfortunate thing about this is how the Lego community as a whole has used Brickshelf to host their Lego images -- it didn't matter who you were, what site you visited... everyone used Brickshelf. I'm sure you've heard all about this already.
Now, the issue is
As you would know if you read my recent Vezon & Fenrakk Review, I managed to track down a few new 2006 sets: Vezon & Fenrakk, Brutaka, and Toa Inika Matoro. I have proudly displayed them for several days now. And I must say -- they were worth that $65 I spent. (or blew?) Just yesterday, though, I had an urge. An urge to MOC. So I stripped down Brutaka of his gold pieces, leaving his unornamented body to rot on my floor. I then gathered up my other KK pieces of the same gold shade.
Ticketmaster -- which more commonly goes by a more fitting name not well suited for BZP -- has basically become a monopoly in ticket distributing.
Let's take a look at concert tickets that I bought for a Tool concert in Atlanta and how they were actually priced at Ticketmaster. About a week before the tickets went on sale, Ticketmaster advertised the price of a general admission floor ticket to be $63.

US $63.00 x 3
Convenience Charge

As most of you are probably aware of, there are some immature brats with nothing better to do who are vandalizing BZPower.
If you see something you know is not allowed, is inappropriate, or just downright doesn't belong, IGNORE IT. That is most important. Don't respond to any messages. Don't post in any topics about it. Don't start any topics about it.
If you would like to help, you can do that by reporting the content to a staff member. You can do this through the "report this post"
Cause the Empress said so. So I'm pimping the BBC Forum.
Firstly and foremostly, BBC Contest 38 has started a few days early. You'll have to see it to believe it. Be sure to read all the rules -- many have been added and changed!
Demonspawn Nuparu has also been unleashed, and has taken over the Latest Creation area of my blog.
