“Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. Hate multiplies hate, violence multiplies violence, and toughness multiplies toughness in a descending spiral of destruction.” -Martin Luther King Jr.
There is no question in modern society that people in general don't respect other people, especially in arguments. For some, it is because they don't feel like others deserve their respect due to some aspect of their person. For others, it is because the other person don't believe exactly what they believe. Both sides are wrong - respect is a two-way street. Calling people names or accusing them of being 'sexist', for example, is not acceptable in an argument. Take a look at this image: T
So I got my SAT scores today; I got an 1895 out of 2400, or around the 87% percentile nationwide. I did best on writing and reading where I rank in the mid eighties and 90th percentile, while I did just above average on math. Overall a good result.
Just recently my parents noted I still had Bionicle sets in my room. A relatively small place, I barely have any room to have more than 6 or 7 out at a time, but that has gotten my thinking about Bionicle as a whole. What is it about Bionicle that has kept me a fan for over 11 years, much longer than any toyline? I remember my first set well - Toa Tahu, given to me in 2001 by my best friend. From there, something about Bionicle grabbed me - perhaps it was the sense of adventure, materialized i
So I just finished playing through it again, probably about the fourth or fifth time I've played through it. Finishes my playthroughs of all three of the games in the series, which is good. I gotta say, I think SP really gets too much hate and is very under-appreciated. It has its flaws, sure, and is probably my least favorite game in the Paper Mario series, but it is by no means bad. It has a very deep plot, no doubt the best in the Paper Mario series, and Count Bleck is one of the best villain
I was initially skeptical about the 3DS but Paper Mario 3DS, Animal Crossing 3DS and a sequel to Luigi's Mansion are more than enough to warrant buying one, methinks.
There's no reason this will actually happen and I really don't like HF, but I'll give what I think would make a HF movie worth watching: Actual risk - That is, there needs to be something at stake. Maybe the villain could take over a planet or hold it hostage. Perhaps the villains want something to create an evil weapon. Just have something interesting at stake. Interesting villains - And no, having a traitor is not interesting in and of itself. What I'm wanting is an interesting villain. Pe
Hey everybody, I just wanted to give an update on my comics series and Treason. *First off, I'm going to be working on a reboot of my comics series with my brother, which some of you know on here as 'AnakinFan'. We'll try and get a script done for the first series in a couple weeks. Any PGS characters are free to reapply, but these comics won't be related very much to any of my old series. *Treason will be finished by the end of February, with a hopeful aim of 2 more chapters and an epilogue
People are making a big deal over Katy Perry getting close to breaking Michael Jackson's record of five number-one singles on a single album, but it isn't going to happen. Even with the .69 cent discount and the BoB remix, she isn't close to LMFAO or Rihanna in digital sales, and that isn't even counting the rise of Adele's new single. My guess is LMFAO stays on top for another week before being supplanted by Adele - all the while, Perry gets stuck at No. 2 or No. 3, behind Adele and Rihanna's s
Basically, this is a counterpart to the Full Bronie List. This list is for BZPers that do not consider themselves bronies (or pegasisters); casual MLP fans that do not consider themselves part of the bronie/pegasister community can be added as well if they desire. If you want to be included, either post here or PM me. This is not a club - this should simply be an informative list of those who do not identify as bronies. As such, all comments should directly pertain to the list, and not be aime
So I got the album and, after a week or so to listen, here are my thoughts: "Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall", "Hurts Like Heaven", "Charlie Brown", and "Paradise" are all excellent. "Don't Let It Break Your Heart" and "Up In Flames" are both great. "U.F.O.", "Up With The Birds", and "Major Minus" are OK. "Us Against The World" and "Princess of China" are my least favorites on the album. The musical interludes are all good, but "Mylo Xyloto" is the best. Basically, "Mylo Xyloto" is a good albu
I've decided to go through and watch the entire first season of Chuck. As good as the show is, Season One is its absolute high point in both creativity and humor.
I'm absolutely bored to death... So expect a comic to come at SOME point in the future. And yes, I am still working on Treason (to the three people that are still on here since the downtime ) - I just have a major case of writer's block.
Anyone have an idea what people who hate MLP or Broniacs (credit to Zarayna for that term) should call ourselves? The other side has the advantage of unity, signified by their pony avs. What can we do to identify ourselves, fellow broniac haters (if you are out there)? -TN05
