Just a word of advice - ignore the 'tiers' of the characters in Brawl unless you intend on playing a 3-life match with no items. The tiers are for tournament play, really, and don't take into account stage or Final Smash. I use characters they say are 'low tier' and owned with them.

The new forum system is... Interesting, to say the least. Seems like an odd mix of Wordpress and a certain popular social networking site. Can't say I prefer it over the old forum, but its better than nothing I guess.
Just a quick update on the comics: *Plot and characters are all complete, essentially. I still have to write scripts for the plot comics at least, so no comics are being made currently. *Background and sprite work is still in progress. While I have the characters, I have no spritesheets yet for most of them, nor do I have many backgrounds. *I am debating between either Razor or Chimoru Sigma as the primary spritesheet for my comics. I'm working on a new comic as of now. Its not related to the Bieber/Swift arc, and i may just post it on this blog so there aren't any revival rules in play, since I may not get comics up as quick as I used to. -TN05
So, I watched Christmas Vacation and Elf tonight. If you haven't seen Elf, you really have to - there are just way too many funny bits right from the start. Both movies are holiday favorites of mine and an annual tradition at my house, and they never really get old because the material is just so great. Now all I need to do is watch Home Alone and The Santa Clause. -TN05

I saw the first Iron Man movie a couple days ago; it was a pretty good movie, I have to say. Kind of refreshing to see a superhero movie that focuses on intrapersonal conflict, which seems to have been abandoned since the first two Spider Man movies. -TN05
Rang in the New Year by watching the TBS Big Bang Theory marathon. Funny stuff, and better than the 'New Years Party' they had on CBS. I'm still wondering why Carlos Santana would be anywhere close to Bieber AND Pitbull at the ball drop, let alone in the same booth. -TN05
I think I'm switching my primary to Pokemon Trainer; he has some attacks that rack up tons of damage quickly, and then some very effective 'smash' attacks to finish the opponent off. The only real issues with him are his final smash, which is very easy to dodge on most levels due to relatively long start-up lag, and the whole stamina deal. Otherwise, he's a good character. -TN05
Sorry I've been gone, I'm online from the hospital connection. Why am I at a hospital? Well, my dad had a significant portion of his small intestine removed. Ouch. Regardless, he is OK, and he should be in full condition in 2-3 weeks.

So I finally got a chance to listen to the new Casting Crowns album a lot, and man, is it good (probably the best since Lifesong). People like to complain that Casting Crowns isn't creative, but 'Spirit Wind' and 'My Own Worst Enemy' are as creative as Crowns has ever been.
