Archivists, Unite!

Something cute that happened today ...   I received in the mail this morning at work a copy of Archivaria, the Journal of the Association of Canadian Archivists (number 61, spring 2006). And who do you think is on the cover??   Tehutti!   I had been in contact with the folks there for some time, and they were just thrilled that we made an action figure of an archivist. So we made arrangements to get them packaging art that they could put on the cover of their journal. So Tehutti lives on, in

Never Forget

As goofy as I like to be, there come times in life when one must be serious and somber. This is one of those times, and this blog entry is dedicated in remembrance of the victims of the Septembet 11th terrorist attack on the World Trade Center. (o)

Sorry, Spitty,

But I've discovered a creature far more mawsome than a llama. Now don't get me wrong, llamas are awesome. But recently they've just become a cliche. Now we get the best of both worlds! It's called an Alpaca. It's like a llama, but poofy! And people in America actually raise them for their "wool!" (o)

Wii

So recently I got the opportunity to try out the coolest white rectangular prism you will ever spend two hundred and fifty dollars on. For a good year or so the world's been both captivated and perplexed by this little box of wonder. Gamers have gotten so used to the traditional way of playing that most have been afraid to try something new, dubbing this machine all sorts of monikers ranging from "stupid" to "really stupid". But we all know the truth. They're the old generation. The 360 upgr

Mexico V

I've just returned from my fifth trip to Mexico. I haven't been on BZP for so long because I've been fasting in preparation for it. And I don't think I'll be very active on BZP from now on, though I'm not abondoning it or anything. Anyways, this past week has been astounding. Astonishing. Incredible. Spectacular. But in all the ways that aren't allowed to be particularly mentioned on BZP. It's basically the same thing that we did way back in October, but doubled. The group was about 5 members

I Win!

I so totally contain the wind within my pocket! The Power is MINE! I'm home, tis what, and I'm totally on-fire and everything. My life is changed- more like, taken a leap forward. To all you "Wha's this guy talking about" people, let's just say.. I know who I am and what I live for- and I'm determined to live up to my purpose. Sure I knew those things before, but now it takes a whole deeper meaning. I'd love to share with you about it. Indeed, I've come home and haven't had a perfect la

Top Nine Reasons You Won't Be Having A Top Nine Li

st This Week   A. I'm going to Mexico this weekend! A mini-missions trip. B. I'll be spending a LOT less time on my computer from now on, particularly a LOT less time on the internet, and specifically a LOT less time on BZP. We'll see how it all works out.   On a sidenote, I'm going to Mexico! Yay!   (o)

The Legend Of Zelda Part A

I beat TwiPri during the first week of January. About a week ago, my friend from Art class loaned me Majora's Mask, as she did last fall with Ocarina o' Time. Now, as I play it, I'm at a standoff of which Zelda game, of the four 3-D ones released, is the best. OoT, MM, TP, or WW. So I'm gonna have a four-part blog series about each game, and my personal rants on them. TWILIGHT PRINCESS - Twilight Princess was truly enjoyable, but one of its two biggest downfalls was the dark storyline, wh

Return from the dead

I returned to BZP after 5 years absent. I had originally logged on to this place in 2002, when I was 11. I went by Core Dimension most of the time and switched to Etcetere later. Crazy! Now it's 11 years later and I'm 22. Miraculously, I managed to remember the old yahoo email account I used and could recover my password.   I'm going to pop back in to BZP from time to time now. I'm interested in seeing how many of my 14-year-old virtual friends I can find again!

Nuevo Laredo

Truly was awesome. There's that whole "religious" guideline here on BZP, and I'll try to respect that. But I mean, come on! It's sad I have to hold back such good news. Yes, I went on a mission trip with my church and got to reach nearly 1000 people with the Message. It was small, only 16 of us, and only for one weekend, but we partnered up with a ministry down there which boosted our ranks a bit. We spent about 15 minutes for restroom/sandwich break when we got there, then jumped right i

Contagious

So in Mexico we have this particular skit called the Doctor Skit, aka Contagious, and it's basically used to grab people's attention, get them interested, and just plain entertain them for a few minutes. BTW, don't skip the previous blog entry and only read this one. You'd better check out that one too! Here's how Contagious works - A person walks into a doctor's office waiting room, and one by one more people walk in as well. Each one has something wrong with them - someone is sneezing, some

From Fritane To Titripec (again)

I'm posting this again because nobody replied to it weeks ago. C/mon people, it's a very good glimpse of Ip. Come, hearken to the first of many tales about the, people, places, and hapoccurs within the Realm of Ip. I myself am the archivist of all Ippish history in the fair town of Stesh, and have been given leave to recount the happenings and infoings of two famed cities in our fair land - the cities of Fritane (Fri-tan-ee) and Titripec (Ti-tree-peck). Most consider them one city, and mis
