First off Vikings won and Hawks clinch NFC West! Steelers lost to the Patriots though, Pats are probably gonna go undefeated now, crazy.
Other notes include Dallas and Green Bay clinching bye weeks in the NFC, Jaguars, Broncos, Chargers and Giants also won important games. The late game is Colts vs Ravens, which should be a fantastic game overall. Time to get the popcorn ready and sit back for a good football game!
Runway 3, you are clear for takeoff!
6396 International Jetport
Description: Released in 1990 for about 60 bucks, this set sells today MISB for about 280 dollars, rare and collectable. Containing 508 parts and 8 minifigs, this set was the newer version of the original airport set released in 1985. It improved upon the older one in many ways, including a control tower and more baseplates.
My Take: This set was always on my wanted list, never did get it though. I like the large trans
Picked up Sonic and the Secret Rings on Monday for the Wii. It is unlike any other game I have played before. It plays similar to Sonic Battle/Heroes but the controls are really something. At times I feel like I am steering a speeding comet with the wiimote. Attacking enemies can become quite the work out, as you have to first jump and then jab forward with the wiimote. Very fast paced action and interactive controls kept my hands sweating the whole time I played it. Making timed jumps acr

6990 Futuron Monorail Transport System

My take: I had this set, I was crushed when I found out it had been given
Nice to see the forums back online, very nice. I must personally thank the staff for bringing us back up, your dilligence has paid off at last. I sure hope this is the end of the nonsense going on here, I will do all I can to ensure the security of the forum and so should all of you. I sure have missed blogging and critique!
Now then, to address things. My contest is still on, there will be an updated entry with a new deadline and a list of all currently entered. During this downtime alo
Shocking!
8388 Shock Cycle
Description: Released in 1991 for a retail price of around 30 dollars, today this set sells for about 50 bucks MISB. Containing 251 parts, this was one of the first of the larger technic sets to feature a moving motor and realistic suspension on a bike.
My take: Had this set, lost it. It has nice shock absorbers and those neat chain parts. Why did I have to lose all these good sets!?
This is a must have game for me. I really enjoyed Super Mario Sunshine when it was released, the uber challenging secret levels kept me busy for hours. This game is supposed to be bigger and better, if that was even possible! Mario also appears to have some new suits to change into. The classics are still there like the fire flower but now there are new ones like the bumblebee suit and ice Mario! Im hoping to pick this up on Friday or possibly sooner, has anybody played it yet? Ill leave y

Hey everyone, hows it going here? I have been adjusting to my new life, it has been a sombering experience, things have gotten very real in the last 2 weeks. Things are looking up though, I have a nice apartment now, I will be able to keep my job and I hope to be back online within my home by mid Janurary.
I have not really touched my LEGO Bricks since this whole thing went down, its going to take some time for me to get motivated again, they bring back some harsh memories ya know? Of cour

So this is the next step I have taken in fusing power functions with the Outdoor Challenger sets chassis. Cajun suggested last year at brickcon I should make a firing mechanism via PF remote. I thought about it, but never implemented it in my previous RC vehicle as I lacked a second motor.
Well this time I have 2 motors, Im gonna make it shoot zamor spheres via the XL motor, the other motor will probably be a spinning chaingun. Weight and stability are big concerns, so is making a reloadin

5540 Formula 1 Racer
Description: Released in 1986 as a part of the Model Team series. Containing 451 parts and retail price was about 50 dollars. Today can be found MISB for about 200 bucks. This was one of the very first Model Team sets, in which lego decided to take a new direction with building sets. Lots of nice details, including an engine with removable cover, steering controls, stickers and an alterna
Final score was 35 to 14. I feel bad for Washington, they lost Sean Taylor and had a very emotional season. Still gotta give it up for Seattle though, that was a great game until mid way in the 4th quarter when Seattle blew the game open with interceptions.
So now we will play Green Bay I think, maybe Dallas also I am not sure about the seeding yet. Now I have to watch the Steelers/Jaguars game. I am pulling for the Steelers but those Jags have looked great the last couple weeks.

I have had a blast though, did a nifty set review with the BZPeoples last night, which was both informative and entertaining. Met lots of new people, shared ideas, made big bucks and picked up the massive Death Star set with the mother load of SW minifigs! I will have pictures posted either tonight or tomorrow afternoon. Sadly I missed the BZP group shot, as I was slaving away behind my vendor table. I was just about cleaned out yesterday so I
