Lego Is Smart...

Saturday, December 2, 2006 Hey, guys. I'm feeling much better than I did when I posted my last entry (and I did get a snow day ). Okay, here's the point of this entry. I just saw this Barraki pic: At first, I wondered why the heck LEGO Marketing would make the canisters in such a funny shape. They can no longer be stacked, which is something that every store that sells Bionicle canister sets has done before. Then I immediately realized something pretty smart on LEGO's part. The caniste

Legend Reborn Trailer Stills

Thursday, May 14, 2009 Mata Nui. Skrall. Ackar. Bonehunter, although this is really Atakus's model. Hopefully the producers won't make this switch in the movie. Berix. Metus. Gresh. Vorox. Kiina. Tuma. The scarabax beetle Click witnesses the landing of the Ignika. A huge foot is seen in the distance. Bara Magna's two moons (one blue, one green) are seen in the night sky. A huge bolt of energy gathers. Some sort of ancient

Late Night

Tuesday, November 7, 2006 Notice how I'm posting this entry at 2:41 AM. It's a late night . I'm up this late because I had to study for a bio test tomorrow. I only started my homework at around 10:45 PM, and that's because I had a three hour nap. And I had to lie down because when I first tried doing my literature homeowrk around 7:30 PM, it put me to sleep.   Man, this school year is brutal .

Tuesday, August 8, 2006 Got the Lava Chamber Gate set today . It's a pretty nice set, but I'm not going to comment more on it now -- it's like 11:40 here. :wakeup2:   I'm pretty sure I'm going to leave on a trip tomorrow for a week unless circumstances dictate otherwise. We'll see what happens.

Kopaka

Toa Kopaka was a Toa of Ice and one of the Toa Mata. He was gifted with the elemental power of ice; wore a Kanohi Akaku, the Great Mask of X-Ray Vision; and carried an ice shield and an ice sword through which he could channel his elemental power. Kopaka and the other Toa Mata were a part of the legend of Mata Nui, a legend that the Turaga of Mata Nui often told to the Matoran during the millennium between the Great Cataclysm and the Toa Mata’s arrival. The legend itself was spawned by a mix of

Kickapoo

Thursday, June 14, 2007 That's right, Kickapoo. That would be the name of a state park I went to on Tuesday and Wednesday. It's summer, and my mom said we needed to go on an "adventure." So what we did was go tubing down a river. That sounded really cool to me for a while. I had this vision in which I could see all of us in a circle in this giant, yellow inner tube racing down the rushing river waters. With the wind blowing stiffly at our backs, the water would then turn white as we hit som

Kardas Dragon

The Kardas Dragon was a powerful Rahi that served as a mount for Vezon during the Toa Inika's quest for the Kanohi Ignika. When the Toa Inika defeated Vezon and Fenrakk, they plunged into a sea of lava, seemingly to their doom. What the Toa did not know was that the curse that had bound the seventh Piraka to the giant spider would not grant him so easy an end. The Ignika resurrected Fenrakk in the form of the Kardas Dragon, and the Toa had an even bigger fight on their hands. This was the final

Just How Powerful Are Muscles?

Thursday, November 16, 2006 Muscles some in antagonistic pairs -- one muscle contracts to move a joint one way, and another serves to move it the other way. Your muscles are so strong that if both muscles in one of your antagonistic pairs contracted at the same time, they would break the bone they were connected to. Thank goodness for nerve impulses that make this impossible to happen. But should your electrical signals fail you...as they might during electrocution... Just a little anatomy t

Just A Notice

Tuesday, June 16, 2009 Not that it really matters, but in case it does, tomorrow I will be heading for the hills, so to speak, and will not be back until the end of June. I will have no TV, no XBOX, shoddy cell reception, and no internet access during this time. So the Farshtey Feed is off for two weeks. I will continue it as soon as I get back (that's gonna be a huge entry, am I right?). So that's all there really is to say. Me, gone, June 17-28...ish. Thanks. Bye.

July Brickmaster Arrived!

Tuesday, September 30, 2008 Not a joke! Not an illusion! The July issue of Brickmaster arrived in my mailbox today! I finally got my hands on Comic 13, my favorite issue for its magnificent artwork. But that wasn't so simple to accomplish. Back when it was actually July, I waited, as I often do, weeks with no sign of the magazine heading my way. It was late August when I finally realized I needed to poke Lego Customer Service to send me my belated issue. So they sent me a standard Magaz

Joined The Wiki!

Saturday, July 8, 2006 Yep. I joined the BS01 Wiki today! I'll still be known as Planetperson around there. It's fun - changing stuff to the way I want . Ha ha ha! Seriously, though, don't worry. I'll be good. I already made some IMO-good and useful contributions.

Jan Feb Brickmaster Set

Tuesday, February 12, 2008 The new Brickmaster Jan-Feb 2008 set has arrived in the mail. The Brickmaster subscription has always provided a bimonthly Lego set shipped in addition to its magazine. This year, it seems, Lego is sending out Lego sets that are entirely exclusive to the Brickmaster program. Indeed, the bag of this set (number 20001 -- promotional sets tend to have five-digit numbers instead of the usual four) lends no name to the set itself and has no other umbrella title on the pa

It Takes Only One

Thursday, September 11, 2008 9/11 No one has rated this blog for almost two years now. But it takes only one to tip the scale from 4.0 to five stars... It would be nice to have that, having cared to post some pretty good entries in my time. On that subject, I'm posting the first OGD Weekly Digest entry tomorrow.

Insanely Hot Day

Monday, July 17, 2006 Today was ridiculously hot and humid, and so my two hours on the tennis courts was an inferno. I almost died. The only comfort I had out there was seeing the football campers running around and doing strenuous drills on the field in full padding/armor. Now that must have been torture. But I still suffered much more than I liked on that desert of concrete. My water heated up within a half-hour, my sides cramped while running...not pleasant.

Injustice! >:(

Thursday, January 4, 2007 Today was my first day back to school . Felt like a monday . Gotta hate those. So I have to get up at 6:40. I come downstairs after washing my face, getting dressed, etc. I'm eating a bagel when we get a phone call. My dad picks up. "Hello?" ... "This is he." ... "Oh...really?" ... "Alright then... would you happen to know what the reason is for this?" ... "So, you're not really sure, you're just happy to pass along the news ." .

Index

I can't believe you stumbled upon this entry.   This index is a list of terms that I intend to give information on. Essentially, it is a directory for what will eventually make up Category 472 -- the reference section of my blog. The names will be linked to the places they are described in once they have descriptions. Feel free to comment for suggestions.   UPDATE for Summer 2008: I'm still working on this project, silently. Red text denotes that I have completed an article. The write-ups ge
