A lot has changed after 10 years!

Vacation Problem.

Well, as all of you know, the deadline for entries in The Observatory's contest is June 18th, but I found out recently that we're going on vacation the 19th, and we'll be gone for a week. I'm not really in the mood to manage polls while on vacation, so I ask you; do I keep the deadline at June 18th, or do I extend it to June 26th?   Argy

Sat With A P

Took another PSAT test yesterday. They're getting really annoying. My guidance counselor wants me to have lots of test prep, etc., so to date I've taken the ACT once, the PLAN test twice, and the PSAT twice. Pretty soon, I'll be acing all that stuff.   Argy

Bzp, Minneapolis, And Brickfair!

It's great to see that BZP is back up again. In its down time, I actually found myself so bored that I wondered what I did in my free time before I joined the site. A few weeks ago, myself and BZP member Alku went to Minneapolis on a youth trip to ValleyFair (a large amusement park). We spent plenty of time at the Mall of America (mostly the LEGO Imagination Center) as well, got ourselves the titan Mata Nui set, and took a picture with the both of us standing near Tahu. I haven't uploaded an

*shriekofintensehappyness*

Just finished composing Epic Journey Track 7, and finished editing Epic Journey Track 3. Previews of both songs have been posted on nathan8472.com with the other four completed songs, and I encourage you to check them out. Particularly Track 7, because it gave me quite the adrenaline rush.   I am still in need of names for Tracks 2-8, so if you have any suggestions at all, please suggest them.   I now officially have 10 days to start and finish Track 8 (already have the whole song in my head

Thoughts Of Mistika

I've waited a long time to speak my thoughts of the Mistika, but finally, I'll reveal them. Personally, I believe that the vehicles are total win, and Takanuva is gonna be the first summer set I buy. The canister sets, however, disappoint me. $12.99 for the Mistika? Never. I really don't find them (setwise) nice enough to buy at $9.99, let alone $12.99. I completely understand the price rise, and I totally respect every one of you who likes the Mistika though, and if you do, that's awesome

More On The Music Video.

I've got 1:12 of the 3:30 minute song (Crashed) completely done, and I estimate that I'll be completely finished by the end of the week. It's turning out better than I expected. Would any of you like to see it when it's done?   -Xai

Airsoft!

Got a few friends who have purchased some airsoft guns, and I've been tempted to do the same.   I have a few ideas for models and types that I'd like, but I'm not entirely sure...   Argetlam

Here It Is.

Alright, well, I promised you a nice interesting long blog entry, and here it is.   Friday - I stayed after school for a few hours recording voices with a few of my friends for a clay animation that we made for Computer Applications class. We had a lot of fun with it (used GarageBand), and hopefully I'll be able to post it here on BZP sometime soon. That same night, I spent three hours with some other people at my house recording all of our stuff for the radio broadcast that we're doing for E

Back In The World Of The Living!

My fever broke late last night, so I was able to go to school today. Those looking for an explanation of my new name don't need to look any further. I'll be sure to explain it.   Also, as the days go by, it becomes more and more likely that I'll be able to make it to Washington DC for BrickFair, so I'm quite happy about that.   Finally, a question: does the Law of the Conservation of Energy apply to matter too? I believe it does, but can't remember for sure.   Yipp-Arrrgghhh!

Ordered Parts Arrived

And I'm quite pleased with them. You can bet the I'll be using blunt shooters on my MOC for this blog contest; which reminds me, YOU ALL NEED TO ENTER IT!     Much larger picture.   Another much larger picture.   Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to build my contest entry.   Argy

Excitement

I'm so excited for the upcoming total Lunar Eclipse next month. It'll start sometime around 7:30 PM (Central Time) and totality will begin at precisely 9 PM. This event will be visible to all of North America.   *waits impatiently*

Kids Are Easier To Scare...

...than Jr. Highers. Nightwatch here at Kids Camp is so much more fun than it was at Jr. High camp. I'll sit in front of some of the cabins where the boys are sleeping, and once in a while, this little kid will stick his head out the door, look around, and then leave his room. I turn on the headlights on my golf-cart, and the kid turns around and runs back into his room. I then turn the lights back off again and wait for the next kid.   Argy

Wii = Win   Which I now have.   Used 1000 Wii points to buy Mario Kart 64, and I've been playing that with my dad for the past 3 hours.   Argy

Mocotw Moves!

Ok, most of you are probably wondering why there wasn't any MOC of the Week yesterday. Well, there are many different reasons, the most prominent being that I'm going to move MOC of the Week to my website; nathan8472.com. A whole page is being created solely for the purpose of MOCotW. Needless to say, it'll be much cooler than the way I've done it here. Unfortunately, there won't be any MOCotW this week, but it will return this coming Sunday.   Please post any feedback about the move here.

Ilife 09 And Stuff

So the other day; a package arrived for my dad that I opened and set up at his request. The contents? A wireless G router to replace our aging wireless B router. Now, our internet is even faster than before, and hopefully, my MK:Wii will work better on WiFi.   Also, my dad wiped his Mac's hard drive and installed Leopard operating system as well as iLife and iWork 09. This makes me quite happy because it means I've upgraded from GarageBand 08 to GarageBand 09!   The Argetlam

Finally, A Break In The Pause.

I've been quite busy entertaining company for the past two days, and as such, have unfortunately neglected updating my blog. I'll still be busy until tomorrow afternoon, so for now, I leave you with very serious question... How are you?   No, this is not a pointless entry.   Nor is this another pointless entry.   'Tis simply an entry.   Argy
