So in the past two days I began watching How I Met Your Mother. I had never watched if before, but had heard good things. So I started at the beginning, and am half-way through the second season.
Yeah.
And in the past twelve hours I have watched eight episodes, and in the last hour, I have created a classical (Pavlovian) conditioning experiment from thin air, written a six page paper on it, based on data that I also made up in the last hour. The next hour is planned out as well. I am going
I wish all the characters in the SW universe would quit bringing up Anakin Solo all the time. I still miss him.
(And on a less important note, due to some circumstances, I am now the Brickfair coordinator for the BIONICLE theme. Weep denizens, weep.)
So, I've been up to a lot over here in off-line world. Engaging in other hobbies outside of just the bricks. Making new life decisions for my post-graduate years. Etc.
I don't know how many of you know this, but I've been into photography for awhile. I took a few years off from serious photography after I graduated high school, and my MOC photography definitely showed it, haha. But ironically, my desire to have better photographs for my MOCs brought me back into the photographic world. It's a

Anyway. Since everyone is all like "Oh hey, look at all these cool prototype pieces I got from Bink," I've decided to be all like "Oh hey, look at my prototype Lehvak I won during a BBC contest."

So there.
Oh, how many things I have to offer.
First things first, I have a new MOC:
Please direct all comments related to said MOC to said MOC topic.
Secondly, I staged a photoshoot, and here are some more images of interest.
Warning, I took these for Flickr, so they're a tad on the larger side.

Updated from yesterday. Legs are mostly done, with few details and such to be added. Torso is under development, this is basic so far. Head is just a placeholder (probably) while I work on proportions and whatnot.
And it came to me then
That every plan is a tiny prayer to Father Time
As I stared at my shoes in the ICU
That reeked of 409
And I rationed my breaths as I said to myself
That I'd already taken too much today
As each descending peak on the LCD
Took you a little farther away from me
Away from me
Amongst the vending machines and year-old magazines
In a place where we only say goodbye
It stung like a violent wind that our memories depend
On a faulty camera in our minds
But I knew tha

Hey, MOCists.
Have you seen this?
Because if you haven't, you need to read it, and read it now. It will help you post the best MOC photos possible.
Red Baron's Photography Guide
You need to read this. (It also needs to get moved to the BBC).
Here's an image of Gresh for those of you who might be interested/ want to satiate your thirst for 2009 images.
Also, I edited my blogroll to be more in line with what I read daily.
Figure out the nicknames!
So, in Tulsa the past few days, it has been well below freezing. Sunday night, it rained.
This equals frozen streets. Sad, because Sunday when I left my house for work, it was seventy-five degrees (F). In the span of six hours, the temperature fell fifty degrees.
FIFTY.
The streets have been covered in an icy layer since Sunday evening.
Today (Tuesday) was my first day off since then.
And, since I came home from school, my plan today was to hit the Toys R Us and see if I could fi
Sorry Texas.
I still find myself possessing an odd sense of irony, as I feel for the Longhorns. Holding the neutral-site victory, it should be Texas, not OU, in the Big 12 title game.
Nonsense has surely prevailed.
