If you need a friend
Don't look to a stranger
You know in the end
I'll always be there
And when you're in doubt
When you're in danger
Take a look all around
I'll be there
I'm sorry but I'm just thinking of the right words to say
I know they don't sound the way I planned them to be
But if you wait around, a while, I'll make you fall for me
I promise
I promise you
So, as you guys know, I spent two weeks of March up in Oregon, spending half of it in a small town in the Eastern top corner, and the other half in Portland.
I finished all my photo editing from the trip recently (and my mosaic on the side has been updated accordingly [remember, clicking them takes you to where you can see larger full versions]), and thought I'd share a few more of the more fantastic photos I took with you guys.
Just like the last one of the Portland skyline, these are al
The moon is a magnet
Everyone's at it
Everyone's had it
Love is a sadness
Love is a madness
We are the addicts
What are we if we're not in love?
What are we if we're not in love?
These are the cages
A kiss is contagious
It will betray us all
A kiss will betray us all
Somebody told me
That everyone's phony
Till somebody's lonely
I hope that you're lonely
I hope that you're only
Waiting to phone me

The hardest part of the move to Oregon has been that it was a very last minute move, and it means that my stuff is all still in Oklahoma, minus the clothing and computer/camera equipment I brought up here for what was initially a Christmas and New Years visit. Which means, the worst part of it all is that all my LEGO parts, that I've gathered and purchased and sorted over the years, are all still in Oklahoma, which means that I have all these MOC ideas, and no way to make them real. Hopefull
Hey, did you guys know that Valentine's Day is properly referred to as the Feast of St. Valentine, and commemorates a Catholic Saint who, legend says, was executed by Claudius II?
So, say something kind to someone you care about today. They could be gone tomorrow.
I'm in Dallas, kiddos.
Dallas is fun. Not only do they have a large skyline (I heart cities), but when I look at it, I'm reminded of Walker, Texas Ranger! It's a double-win!
So hey kids, not that I've been the best at keeping up with this anyway, but this is me explaining any lack of activity until Sunday.
Dallas is fun.
I heart the city of Austin. I need to figure out a way to spend all my free time there.
Anyway. As you can tell, I had a good time in Austin on my vacation. We stayed with our friend Dani again, and while there we danced, ate at local eateries, I had the best French Toast ever, toured some of the Texas State Capital, and shared a few intimate moments of conversation.
I love hanging out with people you've only really known for a week total, but it feels like you've been best friends for l
I think this entry should be done by tonight. Whooo! Now, if I could see a question or something in the topic and get to it before the other assistants, this would be an even better contest! B)
I am leaving my college town (Stillwater, OK) for my hometown (Tulsa, OK) in the next hour.
There, I will do laundry, eat dinner, and get myself some (very little) sleep.
Then, at 7AM (CST) I will be heading to TIA (Tulsa International Airport) to check-in and wait for my 8:30AM (CST) flight to Dulles International Airport, in Washington DC.
I am scheduled to arrive in DC at 2:30PM (EST).
All of this to say...
BRICKFAIR!
I will be in DC in less than 24 hours!

Dearest Oklahoma, you are such a tease!
Cold, overcast, wintry, with a high of fifty-five one day. The next, warm, sunny, with a high of eighty-five?
You tease!
I mean seriously, I can't believe Brickfair plans start tomorrow! Maddison and I will be catching an early flight out of Portland tomorrow and landing at IAD in the early afternoon! Maddison is upset that we'll be getting up to catch the flight at like 4:30, but that's sleeping in for me. Pretty ready for a vacation, not going to lie. Though I did finally finish my Coffee Master certification at work, now I get to wear the cool black Starbucks apron instead of the green one! Anyway, at Brick
