Well now. If Green Lantern was the prize for winning second place, then I'll take second all day long. I've already got Batman minifigs. And there doesn't look to be any Green Lantern minifig sets coming up anytime soon. Whooo!
BZPower, you don't make a lick of sense. Instead of voting for any of the four finished MOCs, or even the LDD render, you vote for the MOC with one ridiculous, terrible, hideously mishapen arm? The one that has literally only one arm? Really?
I made this comment in another blog, but I think it kind of deserves it's own blog post. Someone was talking about all this "Brony" nonsense, and someone was like "Bronies aren't doing anything to start any flamewars". And I'm not going to say they're doing anything, but I know as someone who has no interest in the show (after having watched several episodes and found it uninteresting), that it is actually pretty annoying to open the blogs and see what seems like every other one blogging abo
You know, seeing everyone whine and fuss, and not even send in one report about it, and be all like "what makes the staff so special that they get special priveleges, boo hoo, it's not like they spend most of their free time helping create a place we can talk and discuss safely and make BZP a great place for all ages to discuss LEGO and MOCs and art and story, and boo hoo listen to me whine and fuss about a glitch that was taken care of as soon as we saw it and boo hoo wah," makes me want to fin
I wrote a chill set review everyone. You should totes check this stuff out. It's too hot to touch just like a stovetop that has just been used and hasn't been turned off yet and you touch it and it hurts because it burns and ooooooh it's so hot. Yeah, it's like that. Now we're going to drop it. Like it's hot.
So now that things have calmed down a bit here in the blogs, let's post a "catch everyone up" on what happened with me over the downtime. And since I took a lot of pictures at these things, I'm going to do this with as little text as possible, and just throw you guys some photos. I went out of town a lot. I spent a total of around six weeks outside of Tulsa while the board was off-line. It was off-line for five and a half months, so that's like, somewhere in the neighbourhood of twenty perce
Some things to help you in your blogging adventure on the new forums: Post-Upgrade Differences, Advancements, and Blues - The official BlogHQ entry detailing what is different in the blogs, to make your lives easier. Reporting in the Blogs *Updated* - Basically, you can use the Report button in blogs now! Please do.
I think this entry should be done by tonight. Whooo! Now, if I could see a question or something in the topic and get to it before the other assistants, this would be an even better contest! B)
Bumped for continued relevance, one year later.
The Oklahoma City Bombing was (and remains) the largest act of domestic terrorism in the United States' history. It happened on April 19, 1995, five days after my little brother was born, as he lay, barely living in the NICU, five weeks premature.
I was in second grade. And we were afraid. Nineteen children, all under the age of six, died in the Murrah Building blast.
I am an Oklahoman, and proud to be from Tulsa. Oklahoma City is a me
So, as you guys know, I spent two weeks of March up in Oregon, spending half of it in a small town in the Eastern top corner, and the other half in Portland.
I finished all my photo editing from the trip recently (and my mosaic on the side has been updated accordingly [remember, clicking them takes you to where you can see larger full versions]), and thought I'd share a few more of the more fantastic photos I took with you guys.
Just like the last one of the Portland skyline, these are al
In order to appease those who have been grumpy lately over things, on all sides, here is a panorama I took of Portland on my vacation (that was supposed to be Brickfest).
Clicking the image will take you to the full-size photo (9994 x 2545px). It is a very detailed and very very large shot. (I am excited about the prospect of printing this photo!)
But those of you who plan on blogging here should really keep up with the Blog Leader's blog.
So you don't miss important announcements. Like the one where I said we were not going to have any more discussion in the blogs about this recent blowup.
Further trespasses will result in loss of blogging abilities.

BZP's official stance is that people are to be respected. We do not allow graphic or explicit images- couples kissing, whether homosexual or heterosexual, is neither. That is the rule, and you all will respect that. Discussion on the matter WILL stop from here. Period. The administration has made it's stance clear. You will respect it, you will all stop throwing your opinions in others' faces, and if you don't like the BZP rules- leave.
