Bumped for continued relevance, one year later.
The Oklahoma City Bombing was (and remains) the largest act of domestic terrorism in the United States' history. It happened on April 19, 1995, five days after my little brother was born, as he lay, barely living in the NICU, five weeks premature.
I was in second grade. And we were afraid. Nineteen children, all under the age of six, died in the Murrah Building blast.
I am an Oklahoman, and proud to be from Tulsa. Oklahoma City is a me
So, as you guys know, I spent two weeks of March up in Oregon, spending half of it in a small town in the Eastern top corner, and the other half in Portland.
I finished all my photo editing from the trip recently (and my mosaic on the side has been updated accordingly [remember, clicking them takes you to where you can see larger full versions]), and thought I'd share a few more of the more fantastic photos I took with you guys.
Just like the last one of the Portland skyline, these are al
In order to appease those who have been grumpy lately over things, on all sides, here is a panorama I took of Portland on my vacation (that was supposed to be Brickfest).
Clicking the image will take you to the full-size photo (9994 x 2545px). It is a very detailed and very very large shot. (I am excited about the prospect of printing this photo!)
But those of you who plan on blogging here should really keep up with the Blog Leader's blog.
So you don't miss important announcements. Like the one where I said we were not going to have any more discussion in the blogs about this recent blowup.
Further trespasses will result in loss of blogging abilities.

BZP's official stance is that people are to be respected. We do not allow graphic or explicit images- couples kissing, whether homosexual or heterosexual, is neither. That is the rule, and you all will respect that. Discussion on the matter WILL stop from here. Period. The administration has made it's stance clear. You will respect it, you will all stop throwing your opinions in others' faces, and if you don't like the BZP rules- leave.
You may resume your normal bloggi
I made it to Oregon, but I think one of my oxen died when we tried to fjord a river.
That's the only thing I can think of that would explain why it took an extra 24 hours to get here.
(Worth it!)
Luckily, I didn't need to go hunting, because I only had one bullet, and I was pretty certain that I would spend hours waiting for a buffalo or a deer or something worthwhile, get frustrated and hungry, finally just shoot a rabbit, and that would be when the buffalo would come across the screen
Hipster Hafu: "Rurus are better- I'm wearing this Pakari ironically."
So Nukaya and I were talking about Hipster BIONICLE characters, so I sketched this up real fast while she worked on some of her own. She is better with the art, though.
I've been delaying a real photoshoot of, well, anything, because two weeks ago I ordered a refurbished Nikon d3000, which is basically the replacement for my old d40 on the market. It's not a huge upgrade, but it was cheap and I really wanted a new camera. So I paid ~$300 for it, and decided to also put out for the three-day shipping. Now, remember, this is a ~$600 camera, so this is half off. Two weeks later, and two blizzards later, I finally got the camera.
And when I ran the shutter count
I just want you guys to know that I am for sure entering this contest! I have a MOC near-completed that just needs finishing touches and photography. I am pumped to finally have a MOC to enter into a contest, I haven't entered one since I won 50. Very excited!
Who cares?
-I- do. You can say "I don't get the point of sports" and I'm just going to find something you enjoy as a spectator or non-professional and tell you the same thing, because entertainment is entertainment, and I find it irritating that the same people who are like "let people have their opinions and like what they like" are also making such derogatory comments related to something I and many others receive a lot of enjoyment from. You don't get it? Fine, that's cool.
But -I- do,
Well hello there foot-and-a-half of snow. How am I supposed to get to work this week?
I am poor. Please go away so I can work.
And please don't delay the arrival of my new camera.
Love, me.
Yesterday this little red mask from 2010, but designed to look like the one from 2001 appeared next to my PE bar. Oh man, has it really been nine years??
... this topic, I want to ask Mandrew if I can change my username to "all the staff equally" so I can go in there and post and be like, "I knew you all loved me the most."

Today is the first day of Oh-Eleven. Which means that it's time to make a patented DV-list. The following is not a list of resolutions, but a list of confessions and reflections and random remarks relating to my Oh-Ten.
2010 might have been the best year ever Though it was very weird not being in school for a year And I spent the entire summer unemployed And in 2010 I got fired Still best year ever I don't miss Target And I'm kind of glad they fired me Even though they did so unfairly And used
Hey guys, when the blog rules say "no image only comments," it means no image only comments.
Blog approvals are not exceptions to this rule. These are the reports I get more than any other, and I don't understand why. You can't have a comment with only a picture in it. You can't.
So please, stop.
First I got sick while I was in Arkansas with my closest friends and girlfriend to celebrate my old friend John's graduation from college and his one year marriage anniversary. Took a nap, woke up sick. Awesome.
Then I had to say goodbye Monday and that sucked.
Then I tried to go to work Tuesday and got sent home early and haven't been back.
When I called into job 2 they accused me of faking. Each time.
Some parts of me get better every day. My throat only kind of hurts, I've no hea
