My Seal Of Approval

So I decided to go against the flow of things currently and not make a "seal of approval," mostly because I just don't have time to make one. However, I've decided that if I comment in your blog, that's approval enough that I like your blog.   I'm off to beach camp starting at 8 AM Friday morning and I won't be returning until 5 PM on Monday. It's going to be a blasty blast!

My Birthday

Today is/was my birthday.   I spent the day with my family.   I couldn't have been happier.   My nephew and nieces are simply -the cutest-.   (Four weeks to PAX East!)

Movies

I love movies. Especially the action-y kind. So a few new trailers have been released for movies that should be entertaining for me in 2007.   The first one would be the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle trailer. Now, I was never really into the whole TMNT thing, but I absolutely loved the Lost in Time (or whatever the title was) game for the SNES. I always had to be the purple one with the staff. But yeah, the trailer gave us a nice peek at what seems to be a good movie: some nice action, with a l

Mmm, Subway

How I love the $5 footlong. It's a gift from God for a college student living on his own.

Mmm, Chinese

So I'm sure any of you who read my blog know that I had off school today. I woke up around 10:45 or so, and got a call from a good friend asking if I wanted to go to his house to play some games. I couldn't refuse, so I brought along my Xbox360 Harddrive, a controler, and a few games. I must say, it felt great to be able to play some games again. I hooked my HardDrive onto his 360 so we were able to play Gears of War on XboxLive. I am now re-addicted to that game, and I can't even play it at my

Minnesota, WI

If there's one thing you should know about me, it's that I absolutely love traveling to new places. Just this year, I've traveled to Boston, MA, Orlando, FL, Ann Arbor and Grand Rapids, MI. This Labor Day weekend I'm looking to add another city to my list: Minneapolis!   Some of you may have paid very close attention and noticed that Nate (Than the Moa) recently moved to Minneapolis. Put two and two together. Yup, I'm going to visit Nate!   We're gonna hang out and stuff. Probably hit up some

Milk Day

Inside joke. No school Monday, whoo.   Monologue due Tuesday, boo.   So we finished and published our first school news paper. I must say, I was mighty proud for only having 3 days to work on it. It needs a little more "mmph" to it, but it's still nice. This yearbook/journalism class is more fun than I thought it would be.   Underoath & Taking Back Sunday concert in Birmingham on Feb. 25th. I'm so there.

Michicant

In just a few short hours, two friends and I will be packing ourselves into a car on our long trek to Michigan. One of my friend's mother is paying for gas, and we will be staying at his sister's house in Michigan so expenses will be relatively minimal. We have plans to visit Ann Arbor as well as Grand Rapids while in the state. I've never been to Michigan (outside of Detroit Airport [airports don't count]) and I'm supremely excited to add another state to my list of States I've Visited. We init

Who's going to a college day tomorrow, and then afterwards, going to Atlanta for a concert? Oh, that would be me. Basically skipping school to go to a concert. Going to be a blast.   So, I won't be on at all tomorrow. If I am supposed to be sending out some sets/masks for you, they are going out in the mail on Friday, for sure.

Metal Metroid

I just found a web page that has various themes from various Metroid games redone with more METAL.   Not really my type of metal, more of a classic 80s metal. Still.   METAL METROID   Oh internet.

Mass Effect 3 | Skyrim | Bf3 | La Noire | Gow3

Fortunately, my fall semester looks like it will ease up just before the holiday rush of games. I should have only one lecture class and one online class left by the beginning of October, just in time for the flood of games coming out this year.   Most anticipated games this year:   1) Mass Effect 3 2) Gears of War 3 3) Battlefield 3 4) Skyrim 5) LA Noire   There are still a bunch more I'm sure I'm forgetting. What about you guys?

Mass Effect 3

It is here! My most anticipated game ever has finally arrived in my Xbox!   I went to midnight launch at Gamestop last night and made it home in record time. I managed to play for abour 4 1/2 hours. So far, the gameplay is even better than Mass Effect 2. My adept only carries a pistol, SMG, and an assault rifle, so powers recharge at an incredible speed making me a space-magic force to be reckoned with.   In the four hours I played, I managed to see     The graphics are insanely beautiful. Lovely

Don't you just love it when you think you're going to have the rest of the weekend off after you're done working on Friday, but then you get called in on Saturday and Sunday to cover someones shift/whatever? Yeah, it's lovely.   But hey, I can't complain; more hours = more money.   Who wants to be my Valentine?   10th comment gets $5!

Love Doesn't Die

new job = money   money = cool stuff   cool stuff = black 30G iPod Video   Therefor:   This job will allow me to get a 30Gig iPod Video. I've been wanting an MP3 player for a while and when I heard Apple announced some new iPods, I was happy. I was originally going to get the 8G Nano, but that costs the same as a 30G Video. There wasn't much to think about. The video is the better buy.   Jobs are good.

Obviously they couldn't fix my old one.   Not like any of you care.   And OH! I downloaded the F.E.A.R. demo off of XboxLiveMarketplace. That.Game.Is.Freaky. I want it!!   *goes back to playing Ninety-Nine Nights and Tomb Raider*

Leading Parades Of Idiocy

Currently listening to: Far-Less   Got back from New Jersey yesterday. I don't EVER want to see a paint can again. The grandparents had me painting everything. Garage door? Iron fence?   Although, I think it was all worth it, cause I got gram's awesome French Toast. This stuff is THE stuff. Not that cruddy stuff you get from Waffle House or your other favorite breakfast-restaraunt place. I think I'm going to go into withdrawels if I don't have more soon...   Anywho...school starts in TWO WE

Last Week Of High School. Ever.

This week marks the last full week of high school for my educational career. Five more days of high school. Five more days in pesky uniforms.   I'm beyond excited. I've been waiting for nearly 2 years to finally take the next step in my life. No more dealing with the same 30-odd classmates every day.   I've been trying to think of what I should write my Valedictorian speech on. I need to get going on that, though.   Hopefully I'll also be able to purchase a laptop this week. My parents are

Lame Attempt At An Entry

I wanted to post an entry but I really have nothing to post about. Most of this is just rambling.   I've been doing returns at work lately it's worse this time around because our store is completely outta wack. Alphabetization = easy to find what you're looking for. I also found out that other keyholders who started about the same time I became a keyholder (I was a sales associate since November) started out making $8 an hour, while I'm stuck at a measly $6.26. Needless to say, I told my manag

Killer Queen

...dynamite, with a laser-beam...   Don't you just hate running into someone you haven't seen in a while and have a very legitimate reason for disliking and you know that that person has also indeed recognized your existance but you both retreat from saying anything to each other in hopes to avoid any possible awkward moments? I do.   At approximately 6:30 Eastern time, I will be off to a better place until August the 8th. Don't bother me.

Jealousy Is An Evil

So is a $499 price tag on a freaking phone. But as the title says, I'm jealous. I don't care who you are, the iPhone is the bomb.com. I've been needing a phone for ages now, and this phone is beyond cool. Besides the hefty price tag, the only thing that bothers me is that it's with Cingular/AT&T which gets service everyone, except my house, where I need it most. Oh, and you have to sign up for a plan. Pay-as-you-Go iPhone? YES PLEASE.   The UI is the best I've seen as far as I can tell. M
