I hate it. It cost me a number of eliminations just now; so I did what any self respecting gamer would do...
I ragequit. =) 'Course; I wasn't the host, so that's good. =P
So, after much procrastinating, I may as well get down to the Dowsing Machine's entry. =P
Simply put? This variant of the Dowsing Machine/Item Finder, by far, is the best. Gone are the days of having to activate it multiple times! Gone are also the days of having to constantly tap it, or hold the stylus down on the screen while you move around!
No; now, all you have to do is activate it, and move around as you find items left, right, up, down, and center. =P Yes, it tracks items automatica
So, today, I'll focus on the menu systems in this.
First of all, the main in-game menu. It's pretty much a revision of HGSS's touch screen menu; except, due to the C-Gear being on the screen at all times when on the normal overfield screens(Aka, not in a menu, battle, Musical thing, dressing up, or the GTS), it's been reassigned to popping up with X, like in D/P/Pt. However; this somehow works perfectly. I'm not sure if it's because the Running Shoes doesn't have an auto-on feature, or what;
Other Titles: The Wait Is Over So, yeah, the GBA games for the Ambassadors are up; and I have them. Pretty awesome, since I've only played one of the games. So, yeah, that's all I can think to say for now.
So; as people may have known, I've been making a couple minor changed to the blog sidebar; which might also have another change soon. But first how can you tell I haven't had a blog for a while? Answer after the break! Break: "Have you ever wanted to be popular on BZP? Well for two payments of 100 widgets a month; you can! Just take out the 'Popularity Master 5000'; use it for a week, and by the end of the month, your popularity should rise by 5 stars! ... Results not guaranteed." AN
So; day 5 of playing Pokemon Black. May have to step up my pace to have another entree today. =P
Now then; I said I'd do the Dowsing Machine today; but I wanna talk about Critical Captures right now.
So, if you've heard anything about it, it's a new feature in Pokemon Black and White. It's a difference to normal captures, but is random, and fairly rare; I've only encountered it maybe three times?(... Including last night. When the Lillipup broke out of it. With an Ultra Ball as the usage.
I found this funny. In GoldenEye; I snuck up on three people, on the Station level. Aimed; and then fired.
I took out all three players in one shot. All three dropped down at the same time, so I thought my teammates got them. But no; 5 XP popped up three times.
I laughed at that. =P
Other Titles: Don't Worry - More Half Life Soon I might have mentioned this, but I know I haven't mentioned this in my Blog. I now have Tetris Axis, and yes, I know, my blog sidebar really needs to be updated(Might do that next week or after Christmas). However, that doesn't matter. The main thing is that I have the game. It's very good, and the online is awesome, though I've been neglecting it only because I got it like a week before Skyward Sword released, and then got to playing an Xbox, an
I'm running out of things to blog about. xP
However, I will say this: I've got a few story ideas floating around in my head. I may start mass writing in addition to the stuff I'm already working on. xP Might just throw in some Bionicle stuff too; but that's simply to not have to think up a reason why a perfectly normal person is throwing around lightning bolts or flinging fireballs at people. =P
First of all, let me say that it's awesome that BZP's back, even if I didn't get to blog while I still had Tri that second week. =P
So; we're nearly there. Black's only two days away from releasing; and it's the one I'll be getting. It sounds awesome, even though I just found out they removed a very useful training tool; the Vs. Seeker. Why they did that, I have no clue, but it doesn't sound like it's entirely needed for this game at least.
Also, the Global Link site sounds sweet. Too bad
So. Today, I finally did what I've been trying to do for the last, oh, two days or so?
I beat Alatreon. Not by myself of course, that'd just be suicide. However, I beat Alatreon with the help of others.(Or... Maybe the other way around. xP)
And this is interesting... Each time the quest was won; I got a Skypiercer. Each time. And not just broken ones(I have 5 of those as well); I got an actual, non-broken, Skypiercer. =O
... And the Azure DragonGem.
So... I think I did pretty well. =
Just a slight Entry Title reinvention for the entries now... You can't tell the number correctly from the front page. =P
Anyway, this entry is gonna be about the PokeTransfer.
So; once you beat the game, as with Gen 4, you have the ability to transfer all 493 of your Pokemon(Minus spiky eared Pichu for some strange reason) from your Generation 4 DS games, to Black and White. However, this is done slightly differently from the Generation 4 method.
First of all, the option isn't on the me
I changed my name from Blade: Fade to Black, to Blade: Hero of Truth.
I figure it fits better like this, since a) I beat Black's main story(One interpretation of the name, even though it was for Bleach Movie 3's english release. =P); and B) Well... It ties into a somehow. =P
So; yesterday; March 6th... The release date of Black and White.
And I got it yesterday; around noon.
The game. Is. Awesome.
It's long, very long. If you play it, you'll see what I mean. I like the fact that the story has been very much expanded.
For now; that's all I'll say, as I'm only up to Castelia City so far. xP
Oh... And the GTS is standard fare. =P Ridiculous trades like usual.
So, as I mentioned yesterday in the Champion Special entry; I beat the game. Therefore, the whole eastern half of Unova opened up. That includes Black City.
Black City is a very large city, that is, as the name suggests, covered in black buildings with differently coloured neon lights. There are different trainers outside, who use Pokemon of varying levels. You can fight said people once every day. These people use pretty much exclusively old Pokemon, in their fully evolved forms. In the cent
WARNING! CONTAINS MASSIVE SPOILERS! DO NOT CLICK THE More LINK UNLESS YOU REALLY WISH TO LEARN ALL YOU CAN ABOUT THE ENDGAME. I'll spoiler all I can that's major; but seriously, this whole thing is technically a spoiler. xP
/EDIT 8: I just realized that this way of posting the entry would work much better than the way I had it. >_>
Update 9 now up, but contains spoilers of post battle.
GAME COMPLETE. Update 10 covers the last bit before the Post-game; but obviously will contain sp
Hmm; multiple categories this can go in. =P
So; decided yesterday that I'd join a couple more of the contest RPGs. Given that I'm already part of Day Run, that meant literally two more. And therefore, I'm now part of all the contest RPGs currently open.
Is it just me, or were the RPGs that won this contest awesome? =O Either that, or it's because I actually paid attention to the Bionicle RPGs forum for the first time in months. >>;
So; I've been playing Galaxy 2 recently.
I've gotten up to 100 stars, and am nearing the end of World 6. Not too great, but considering I haven't been playing it all that long, and when I do, I've only been playing for... maybe 3 hours each day(Though since it's the weekend, I played longer yesterday and today. =P); I'd say that's a good job. =)
Also, if anyone's seen that challenge for Galaxy 2 that's on the Nintendo Channel for the Wii... I did that same challenge. Didn't have nearly as
I utterly loathe my connection to Wi-Fi. In fact, my connection to the internet in general.
*Pow pow pow* "Argh, everyone's killing me; so I'll kill the snipers." "*Insert names here* have left the game" *Blinks* Huh. *Looks at computer, which said the connection couldn't be reached* "Ah; that explains that... Free EXP!" *2:30 left in the game* "YOU HAVE BEEN DISCONNECTED FROM NINTENDO WI-FI CONNECTION" "... AAAAAAAAGH!!"
... So yeah. And since I was host... I'm likely seen as a ragequitte
