Chapter X

You walk into the Sets forum, followed closely by Sumiki, Krahka, and Blue Dragon. You are searching for Emperor Whenua, and you find him very soon, all alone in the forum. After all, with Bionicle ending, there wasn’t much to discuss as far as sets went.

“Hey you,” you shout at EW. “We’ve been wanting to talk with you.”

EW turns to the four of you with a devious smile on his face. “Oh, and what would you like to talk about?”

“You’re acting very suspicious,” Krahka says. “And we want to know what you’re up to.”

“I confess!” EW says suddenly. “I did it. I killed those pesky Reporters, and then I killed Binkmeister when he went to look for them. And I’m also behind all these other disappearances you may have been hearing about. Members get a little too nosey, and then I have to take them down.”

“Ha, but we found you out!” exclaims Sumiki.

“What?” EW says. “Oh, no, you’re going to be the next to die.”

“But why?” asks Blue. “Why all this destruction and death?”

“Not everybody has to die,” EW says. “Only those who oppose me. Some, like Brickthing, are actually on my side.”

“And what’s on your side?” you ask cautiously.

“The end of Bionicle, and BZPower as we know it,” EW answers. “It was I who manipulated Lego into discontinuing the line. And as it passes away, so shall BZPower. I shall take claim of this land in my name, and rule over it. You can bow to me, or you can die?”

“Except you’re forgetting one thing,” Blue says, as he pulls out his clawed weapon. “You’re just a regular member. We can overpower you, and even if you get past us, the Staff will take you down.”

“Oh, you have no idea how wrong you are,” EW says. Then he lifts his hands, and electricity sparks within them. All around you, an electric storm begins to gather, controlled by EW.

“What is this…?” you gasp.

Krahka’s expression explains it all, but she still speaks. “It’s a hack. EW has hacked into BZPower, and has manipulated the environment in order to give himself godlike powers.”

Sumiki, however, wasn’t admitting defeat yet. “Hacking takes time. He may not yet be all powerful, and we can still stop him!”

“But how?” Blue asks.

You shake your head to clear your thoughts. You have already come up with some ideas. But which one to use?
