Homerow keys. Because I honestly could not think of a title.

Let me think... what's new in life...

Uh. Oh, yeah. Wednesday was a snow day, which contrary to belief really sucked. See, we have no allotted snow days this year, so if we have one, then we lose a day off somewhere else. In this case, today we would have not had school, but instead we had off on Wednesday. I mean, really, a four-day weekend is so much better than a day off in the middle of the week and then a three day weekend.

The snow sucked too. It's not even snow, technically. It's like, tiny pieces of ice. So you can't make snowmen, snowballs, snow forts, nothing. Well, you can BARELY make snowballs with the half-melted stuff but they're really bad snowballs anyway...

However what's nice about it is that it coats over and fuses into a nice smooth surface and at the right time of day it's covered in a film of slick water. It's got enough surface irregularity for traction and enough smoothness to slide, which is awesome. It's like skating on shoes.

Of course, me being the genius that I am, I picked an especially smooth untouched area, fell flat on my back and twisted my ankle.

I like the icy snow because there is ice that's more snowy-ish, so if you pick up a piece of the icy ice, there's a nice large layer of normalish snow, like a cake, perfect for a snow fight. And ice is awesome. Ice on hills is really awesome. It's amazing how fast you can go. On your knees, penguin slide, and on your hands and feet (with no bottom touching the ice). And when the ice suddenly stops, and there's still more hill, you flip...
