So YEAH, Luna Eclipsed. T'was great. :3

 

It was great to see Luna reappear, although she was very overplayed. Of course that was intentional, but it was a bit annoying that she acted that way through virtually the entire episode.

 

Also I really liked her new, more mature character design and voice.

Yeah there was definitely some humor to it. I just wanted to see more of her being herself instead of trying too hard to be formal.

 

Still though, love Luna :3

 

Also why are my tags in backwards order. That's stupid.

I wish there was some explanation is to why her design changed so much since 1.02.

 

I actually felt underwhelmed by the episode. Luna's antics weren't that funny and started to get old after a while. Hopefully she returns in future episodes because I feel like she does deserve to have a bit more screen time.

 

Zecora was awesome, though. Glad to see her back.

I believe Faust was quoted saying that it might have something to do with her time as Nightmare Moon diminishing her power. I'm not sure though, sounds like an excuse.

 

Personally I believe she's beginning to grow older. The ponies mature fast, apparently.

 

Also I love how Zecora was actually using magic in the episode. Suuuure she's not a wicked enchantress. :P
