Well, I am finally releasing some information on the status of the Great Comedy Crossover to the public. For those of you who don't know, the Great Comedy Crossover was a project proposed by me around February 2011. My comedy was young at the time, and I intended to release the Crossover after two full seasons of the my comedy at the earliest. I first went to MT, and we set about recruiting authors, who in turn recruited more authors. I'd intended to allow ten comedies in, and that I did.

The comedies involved were It's a Mad House (by me), The TBTTRAH Saga (the current installment was Aftermath at the time, but is now Aftermath 2) (by MT), the Vultraz series (by ibrow), Tahu vs. Tahu (by ibrow), The Legend Reloaded (by TNTOS), The Sniper of BZPower series (by the Dark Chronicler (V3)), the Fun With Taku and Tahu series (by The BIONICLE Hero), The Toa Mizore (by Kpik), Ask Vezon! (and friends) (by Kpik), and Mata Nui Adventures (by VakamaMetruNui and MatauMetruNui).

Sadly, Kpik withdrew the Toa Mizore, due to it being cancelled. However, he recently started it up again, so I'll check with him on that. I somewhat lost contact the Vakama and Matau, but I'll PM one of them soon.

For now, we are currently writing a pitifully low chapter number of the GCC. Production speed will pick up soon though, as I have a decent amount of pre-written Mad House chappies (I can't speak for the others though). But for now I can offer this brief preview from a chapter number I won't reveal (I'm not revealing who the characters are, so I edited out names, though you may be able to figure out (probably))):

A black flash shot past the powerful young fighter. Next thing he knew, he was on the ground. He leapt to his feet and fired a small lightning bolt from his white palm. The lightning shot forward, and another flash of black armor could be seen as his opponent dodged. His opponent shot a powerful light blast at the young fighter.

The young fighter jumped in the air and leaned back, so as to perform a flip. He came down as the last of the beam shot by. His feet came back over his head and fell toward the ground. He launched off a few rounds of ammo from his arm cannon as his feet met the ground.

The blast from the arm cannon narrowly missed the black armored Toa, who took the opportunity to aim his sword at his opponent.

"I hear ice missiles taste just like chicken," he said, before sending said weaponry into his opponent's mouth.

Well, there you have it, a small piece from a fight between two characters. It's okay if you try to guess who they are, it won't spoil anything, really. However, in one of the comedies, a main character gets a change of armor color, turning it to white, which is used here.

Look for the GCC in 2012!
