I Need Your Input The Second

Hello again. If you've read my previous posts (which you probably haven't), you know that I am working on a game inspired by the MNOLG2 called VNOLG2. It takes place from an Onu-Matoran's point of view before the Inika arrive on Voya Nui. However, I had a thought recently: instead of it taking place in Voya Nui, it could take place in Karda Nui, which I could see having a plot that kind of reminds me of the MeNOL (I'm not going to put spoilers here, so if you haven't played it yet, check it out here, it's a great game).

Anyway, which location do you think has more potential? Or more importantly, which location do you think you would have more fun playing in?

Edit: Before you ask, you would probably still play as Mokamou in Karda Nui, just he would now be an Av-Matoran.

Edit 2: It looks like Karda Nui is generally favoured amongst the two people that have responded so far. :P Now, I have some more questions for you:

- How do you think that I should make each village unique (for example, different rock colours)?

- How would you want the jet pack interface to work? How should it control?

I think you should do VNOLG2 as KNOLG just because it might be nice to have a change of scenery, and also because it might be more fun as the maker (and the player as well) to have different objects and backgrounds and whatnot.

Okay. Thanks for the response! How do you think that I can differentiate the stalactite villages? I was thinking slightly different colours for each stalactite and maybe a map, but what do you think?

Are you planning on having art similar to the MNOLG/MeNOLG titles? It would be absolutely amazing if you pulled this off.

I can't really say which location would be better, as I think you as the developer would know better what you could do. It would be quite a lot of fun to play in sky villages though, and you would easily be able to limit exploration like that. If you wanted to implement jet packs and such, that would be amazing.

Yes, I'm planning on having "Templar-style" graphics. I actually created an Av-Matoran leg design today that demonstrates the style that I'm using:

I'm planning on implementing jet packs for use in certain areas. However, I don't know right now how exactly you will control them...
