Hey, the staff need some excitement in their lives. Otherwise they'd all end up dull and boring and wouldn't be able to take a joke, much less make one. Hence why people like Bones are fun. They're so disliked by so many people that they don't have the time to be glum

People like Shad here make the world more interesting anyways
